I feel the same way as Kris about Dune. I genuinely didn't like the movie. I hated the pacing. It felt like one giant trailer for things to come. But I understand that if the fans of the book love it, then that's all that matters.

Okay so I know 2 people who were shot in the head. 1 was my stepdad, the bullet circled his skull but didn't do too much damage to the brain. The second person is a random guy, he got shot right in the face and was still able to communicate but he was bleeding internally. They eventually saved him with minor brain damage. He's doing fine now! Also we have Wakanda tech and Stark Tech in the MCU

It’s not real life though. It’s a show and in TV/Film language putting a gun to someone’s head and going bang means death. If not, it needs explaining. The writers can’t just say “well I know someone who survived once so just assume that happened”. The writers must love the fans because all they do is explain away their BS. They made a mortal man get shot point blank in the head then in his next appearance just have an eye patch with no explanation. Fans: “What’s the problem?” Like you said, there’s potential in universe reasons they could have used. But they didn’t. Cause why would they when they know people will defend the shit anyway?

I made this post on a video here a couple days ago. Basically exactly what you said. Not saying you're posting my idea. It's obvious. So, these people so baffled over what happened with Kingpin baffles me. I'm not saying I'm glad they shot him in the fact and made this a thing. Even though it happens in the comics. But even then, MCU logic and what can happen in real life logic explains how he's alive and doing well.

Suspense disbelief, that's the point of MCU being sci-fi, fantasy and regeneration nanotech. I said it the other day. I do see others who feel the same way. But ill say it again. Kingpin being shot in the face. There are countless real life situations of surviving and not having any serious brain trauma or anything at all. Seconly, its in the MCU. Where we have many in cannon things that weve seen that heal people in a plethora of ways. Kingpin has money. He can be using this tech. We see that close to half a year of time passed after being shot and seen again. On top of it its a tv show. It happens in the comics. I dont see how this thing specifically has some so bent out of shape. And on top of it. He may have super soldier serum. Theres been rumors of it happening. Maybe it doesnt. But maybe well learn more in the future.

Weird that Vincent and Charlie had different concepts of who Daredevil/Kingpin were. It’s like they read different script treatments/concepts. I’m just glad things worked out this way and Marvel had the right amount of time to realize that they had to continue with Daredevil Netflix. 😁

Literally 2 different scripts since they explained the plan wasn't to tie them together. Now they are changing to link them. Even so, his wording says connected to S3, but I'm pretty sure there're gonna be significant changes from a few events we saw in the Netflix shows.

@@DarkKnightBatman420 it's literally 2 different scripts in the sense of what the article and this video just said: 1st they had a script for a new take on DD, completely divorced of the Netflix continuity; then they changed directions and have a 2nd script (probably still in the making) where it now has connections to Netflix DD. A different approach influenced Charlie's words to differ from Vincent's because what they'll do now isn't what they were doing before.

Details were scarce, but going by the known events: 1. they started filming (meaning they had a story treatment, lines, dialog, actors, etc.), then 2. scrapped it to change directions, - changing directions = changing the intended story, i.e., script. All of which breaks down that they weren't following Netflix's series events before (hence Charlie's comments) but are now following "some" of those events (hence Vincent's present comments). We don't need to know much more than that. I just hope they do a great job.

The whole gun shot to the face/eye aside. A guy that was in jail and then held the FBI hostage through bribes, extortion and blackmail... THAT guy can fun for Mayor!? They may definitely retcon some things. Also for intermissions. In that intermission time, the theaters can show 2 -3 trailers. Either you get up and go to the bathroom or watch the trailers.

Should I watch the Percy Jackson movies before watching the show on Disney Plus? It seems like the show is a book adaptation but are the movies also an adaptation of the certain books? I will gladly watch all of it. I just would like to know the proper order.

The show is a re-adaptation starting from the beginning of the book series. The movies are a complete butchering of the first, second, and some of the third book.

I enjoyed the first one for what it was but no. They have completely nothing to do with each other. However if you do feel inclined to go and watch them skip the second movie, it’s terrible. Embarrassingly cheap visuals, props and sets. Also they got they they’re stunt doubles for Chiron and Mr. D (if you get that reference I love you)

20:43 Percy Jackson is a good show and much better than Secret Invasion, for sure. But it is not better than Loki S2. Loki had epic moments, top tier acting, the music was thrilling, the set design and effects were perfect. Percy Jackson is not on that level, though it could be in a season or two.

The developers at machine games w/indy have theor original roota with many of the staff being formerly of Starbreeze studios who made the Way ahead of its time and way better than the movies its based on Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Indy has to be moatlry 1st person hased on theor success with past games and skill with these mechanics. Putting in third person would be wasting theor expertise and fully plant the game immediantly in the conversation of being an uncharted clone and permentaley in Uncharted's shadow wich would be sad. They made the right choice to take this approach. Hooe the set pieces dont get to loony and lacking gravity and some nugget of grounded realism. While not Nuclear Fridge batshit insulting to the views intelligence level, the jumping from Mesherschmitdt to "" "" on the wings with ease an lack of physics of parallel objecta at probably going 150 to 175 MPH and the probability he wouls habe needed to jump much earlier to compemsate for speed (pushing my glasses up my nose) is pretty looney. Hope it stays as plausible as possible while still giving the player cinematic awe. Also worried as if you played Wolfenstien 2 colossus to completion there is that moment that happens to BJ Blaczkweitz and the eventual story resolution to patch (wink) the situation making the "whole" situation able to have the story move forward. And then there wS Nazis on the moon and Gitler takimg a piss break. Spoiler sorry. Anyway hope the machine games dont go to those types of limits. The BJ moment. WTF?!?!? (if you played it you know what im talking about)

Why didn’t you guys pull up the Infinity War Part I & II conversation? Marvel Studios moved away from that structure really quickly. And they firmly stated “this movie has a beginning and end”. It was sobering and shocking at the time. With Mission Impossible coming so far later really isn’t helped by not being its own film. Even if there is stronger continuity between the two than other sequels.

There’s many reasons why most of the best games in the past couple of decades have been 3rd person. The game being 1st person will seriously kill the game. Especially with its stiff gameplay.

I don't mind that it's an Xbox exclusive. But I do mind that it's a Bethesda game and that it's in first person. The third person view gives you the impression that you're watching Indy's adventures. First person is for my personal immersion, to go on to adventures as ME. First person POV is better suited for blank slate characters with no face. Also Tomb Raider, Uncharted... These games have already shown up what could be capable from Indy inspired game. Instead they went with a company that made Wolfenstein, which weren't bad but very different. I just hope they hire some people from the Naughty Dog or Crystal Dynamics so the game is more suited for the adventures it promises.
