A little disappointed that the host didn't ask him more pertinent questions. I also want to know why he was bashing Aaliyah in the cast groupchat behind her back and why he went out of his way to attack and berate Miriam. Uche didn't demonstrate any respectful communication towards the black women on this show. You can't blame production or editing for lashing out at multiple women.

I feel Uchee may have some unlikeable traits in his delivery but I do feel there is some truths to what he is saying. Lydia gives me the impression of someone being codependent. They may have dated and she got too clingy and with most men during the dating phase, they are dating other women trying to find the one woman they want to commit to. She found out he was dating others and started going through his social media. I believe she did stalk him and his friends and very much was aware he would be on the show. No one sees it as odd that she became friends with Aaliyah out of everyone else. She was secretly jealous he was interested in someone else. You could see her on one episode looking down when she told her how uchee felt about her. I feel sorry for Milton cause I do not believe she is genuine. He is young and trying to prove to his family, self and everyone that nothing is wrong with her. But there definitely is. This is something he is looking at as a science project to prove to himself that he can do it. Lydia is not the type that will go away lightly.

What unedited scene are you referring to? In the show all the scenes are edited. In episode 5 of the show, the producer asks Uche if he wants to speak with Aaliyah. First, Uche said he needs to talk to her. Then the producer offered him a choice: they can contact her for him or he can do it on his own time. He says again he needs to talk to her (I'm suspicious that this soundbite is repeated but from a different view). Then the producer asks him if he wants to talk to her. This host is very biased and obviously doesnt mind wasting precious time on toxic people and relationships. For her to say Aliyah should have stayed and continue to get to know Uche is very telling. Aliyah should have absolutely left ASAP and be done with the experiment. There was no one else she was interested in. She just divulged her past indiscretions to him and was made to feel awful by him. THEN she finds out shortly after she divulged her past he withheld very important information from her (doesnt matter if it was by him or producers). If the one person she liked has an ex-girlfriend there who he tried to minimize their relationship AND then she finds out he RECENTLY slept with this ex AND then they both mysteriously ended up on the show together! Also, she realizes this new friend of hers/ex girlfriend possibly has fatal attraction/glen close tendencies (following him on the show, stalking his house and social media). Why would she stay and continue getting to know him and his messy life. I would never allow anyones choices in life to affect mine. Aliyah is there to look for love not toxicity. Life is too short and if you value yourself and your time you dont continue to stick around to sort out a stranger's messy life. Aliyah should have left and NEVER looked back.

I'm confused how production could have convinced Uche that Lydia said something in passing off-camera when Aaliyah was literally listing off things about him that she couldn't have known otherwise. And regardless if it happened off-camera somehow, it still verifiably happened and Lydia shouldve been kicked off per their agreement. Uche needs to take more accountability not just for his communication issues, but also his LISTENING issues. He chose to not take Aaliyah seriously THROUGHOUT. I really believe he has narcissistic tendencies. What that stems from, I don't know. It doesn't mean he's incapable of empathy or fairness, but he does consistently think of himself first, talk himself out of accountability as much as he can until he hits a logical wall. (I relate so I think that's why I see it). In his IG, he implied he wasn't told about Aaliyah's experiences, when SHE told him. And here again, he's admitting that he dismissed her and didn't look any deeper even when she was begging him to understand. Selfish.

I do believe alittle of everyone's story.Uche is not evil, but he's very critical and unforgiving. Lydia is great, i think she has gone through rejection and is very passionate , so she goes all in. That combination is not good for a relationship. I can see how he thought she's crazy. I don't think she is. Love needs Grace. I don't think she's a stalker , i just think she wanted love so bad. She clearly had feelings for other people so it's love she was really after , not Uche in my opinion. Not having a family especially as a foreigner. I think Uche is a good person but very hard to please. He needs someone like the 33 year old independent woman. The way he judged Aliyah for cheating yet he's cheated before is not good . No matter how you say sorry. If a spouse has invested alot into the relationship then they have to constantly face his critical behavior,it can make you afraid to communicate. I think Milton is great for Lydia. He gives her grace to be human so mature beyond his years. Marriage is not easy noone is perfect you need to overlook the little things like him leaving towels on the 😂 floor etc to appreciate the important stuff like his stability.Lydia needed someone like him thats why it worked. They both have the character to compromise and not judge to focus on the important stuff. Making the perfect recepe to stick out marriage to the end through the hard times. People glamarize marriage too much. It's also about accepting someone with their flaws just the way they are.

Why do multiple interviews instead of going to the reunion to face your shit? Lydia never went out of her way to bash Uche, she never talked to multiple parties. She said her peace and that's it. I think there's some truth to both sides. I think Lydia had a valid reason to go about her past relationship with Uche the way she did. Then, all contestants proceed to list only 8 of the participants they'd like to get to know more once the camera's start recording in the Pods. If I give Uche the benefit of a doubt, I think Uche is a bit quick to judge. Based on the compliments he gets from other cast members, I think he does care about people and tries to help people. But I feel like he also struggles to respond with empathy to people. Maybe that's what he means when he says he is a bad communicator. I get the vibe that he rubs people the wrong way, but if you get to know him (or maybe as he gets to know you), you can see his good intentions.

1) He did not show up at the reunion to speak so nothing he says matters now. 2) If he truly said that Aaliyah is not the type he typically goes for and if he truly goes for women who are not representative of his mom, sisters, grandmother then he has a serious internal issue. Aaliyah dodged a bullet.

Why did the host say, "I don't know if there was something more intimate going on between Lydia and Aaliyah?" because Aaliyah wanted to speak to Lydia. I think it's easy to sit here and ask, "Why did she want to speak to Lydia when she was there to find a husband?" when we are not in the situation of trauma bonding in a house with other females. I think your mind gets clouded and you are in survival mode. But jeez, I find it ridiculous to insinuate Lydia and Aaliyah had something more than a friendship going.

Wow tip for the interviewer: Good job, but it's frustrating to hear you ask 15 billion questions/make different statements at once and not allowing him to answer any of them. Pick a question/comment, commit to it, get your answer and move on to the next. very frustrating listening to you ask good questions or make good commentary but pile it on with something else.

This was a goooood level-headed interview. I just came across your channel while i searched for Uche coz i didn't see him at the reunion. This interview is well-done. Thank you for letting Uche speak. We got some good background scoop. Something which we can't say for most of these biased black women channels on YT. They reek of racism and victimhood mentality. You did a good job ma'am. Extensive questioning, just like an interview should be. And letting your guest speak. I hope your channel grows by leaps and bounds. Love from Kampala,UGANDA. 🇺🇬❤

Excellent interview 👏🏾 Thank you Miss Understood Podcast for giving Uche the opportunity and grace to share his perspective without bias as we all deserve. All the Black female KZbinrs I've seen jumped on the misandry bandwagon to criticize this man. To all the hardworking brothers with eyes to see, it's notable that it takes a woman from another community (a highly attractive and sophisticated one), to uplift and give humanity to a successful and strong Black man. One who dares to stand on his principles. Reality is often stranger than fiction. Subscribed. #BlackMaleLawyers

@xoxojollyy "Most people" also said the Titanic was "unsinkable." Never allow the herd to manipulate your thoughts. I'm stating the facts. I don't put my head in the sand and pretend misandry doesn't exist. I searched for LIB content and watched the content creators that popped up. Miss Understood Podcast is the ONLY creator I found who gave that brother respect. She's the exception to the pervasive groupthink, and it's notable that she's not Black while all the other character assassins are Black. It's a mental illness and internalized hate that must always be exposed. Be blessed.

@@thetoughgroup nothing you said was a fact, the true facts are that Uche is considered to be the villain of season 5 which means most of the viewers dislike him. Which means most of the coverage he gets will be negative, doesn’t matter if the commentator is black or white. Go to any gossip blog and they’re repeating the same negative stories about Uche. Why are you making it a race thing? Your algorithm shows you black content creators because you’re black and you clearly watch black content creators the most on here. The producers staged the thing with Lydia (who according to their rules wasn't supposed to talk about Uche) and Lydia is a total two faced snake. I'm shocked she was not called out for her fake love toward Aailyah sabotaging her relationship with Uche more. Total narcissistic behavior called love bombing to destroy. Is everyone that morally blind to not see the villian? And then Lydias fake love towards Milton acting like she won a game show. I hope Milton dumps that horrible c***!
