The hard work, discipline and even the courage she has to not let anyone stop her from being her best self while representing minority women everywhere; that was beautiful to follow. Not winning those awards shows that we (women & minorities) continuously have to worker harder to get recognized but her saying it isn't for the award shows but how she can connect with her fans and how she can make us feel, that is what matters - that is the award and that's why she keeps going. I never hated or loved this entertainer. But I have my two cents to share. I wasn’t happy to hear that she had an issue sharing the halftime show with Shakira. So much for women boosting/empowering other women, and for me- Shakira isn’t just an entertainer but a singer an artist. The fact that there’s alleged rumors she’s stolen vocals from other singers, does bother me as the truth behind this will never see the light of day. Does she hustle- yes, is she hard working- clearly, other than that I have no more to offer.

After watching the documentary, her stating that sharing the stage was a bad idea is actually a misconception. She and her teaming were getting frustrated on the limited amount of time they to get the runtime down to the bare minimum for the Halftime show. The way social media marketed this documentary really made it seem like Jlo was talking shit about Shakira. I just finished watching it and I never saw or got that she was talking shit about her or being selfish. Look deeper into what she said, and shes 100% right. They did NOT need two latinas aaand im also 100% Colombian so 🤫. This was also much more than just the Superbowl. Cmon people lol

She really didn't say Much/give much credit or support for/ about Shakira...well, for what was in the show.

She has always kind of inspired me with her determination and resilience in a rough place like Hollywood where nothing stays the same.... As someone from a different corner of the world it's some sort of respect to be able to relate to someone who has experienced some sort of the same things in different ways.... I can understand the thing about being taken seriously as a woman cause it happens more than I like to admit and it all started at home and stays with me for life.... So excited for this 😍 ❤ GO JETS

Shakira made the super bowl halftime great. Not Jlo. I was rolling my eyes up when it was Jlo’s turn to sing 😂

Jennifer Lopez Vs Shakira????? I don’t think so!!! If you have nothing nice to say then don’t say nothing at all. But then what about Freedom of Speech? Jennifer Lopez has a right to speak her mind but then sometimes talking to much can rub people the wrong way in today’s sensitive society. I don’t think JLo has anything against Shakira personally. She would of made the same comment if she was sharing the stage with any other artist. JLo thinks she is more than enough for the stage. 7 minutes was not enough to showcase all her talents she thought. Greed? No, that’s just the kind of person fame and money has turned her into. Money and Fame change people. Shakira and JLo created such a magical halftime show which I watched like 50 times. To say comments like being a horrible idea of giving someone else a chance to shine on stage does put a damper on that magic. Now when I watch the Halftime show, I’m gonna always remember that JLo did not want to share that stage. I have nothing against JLo and I still love her ever since she did the movie Selena. but wish she knew that those 7 minutes she gave us were more than enough. I don’t think JLo alone (without Shakira) would of beat the record they have now for the most viewed halftime show. Your good Jenny from the block but not that good. I will pray that God softens your ego just a bit. God Bless. 🙏 ❤️

Why isn't anyone talking about how she has been treated by media and the interviewers??? He literally made an question about her 🍑. Like wtf dude? That's so rude against a woman! Then putting down about her singing while she has sold millions of albums and "On The Floor" it literally has 1.9B views because it's one of the biggest hits this world owns and she could have never done that if she couldn't sing. Sold out tours, vegas show, the best super bowl performance, she has done this for so many years, not like people have never went and heard her live performing. It's called being negative against a hardworking woman who does it all and you're just jealous because you can't. You can't achieve that while trying to put someone else down!

Very well said all around. I hate how disrespectful and sometimes downright perverted some journalists are towards women. It disgusts me.

If JLO were a man she would be seen differently and the same things she is criticized for would be strengths... she is a legend. She acts, sings, dances, she has had her own clothing brand, perfume, and she models... and imo she had the best superbowl performance of all time.

I just started watching "Halftime" super excited to see Jlo and know more about that awesome halftime with Shakira. BUT unfortunately, I could not pass the 20th min. What a disappointment! JLO HAS GONE WOKE! I am also an immigrant(Peru) with 26+ years in the US... and I have to say... You are an awesome artist, business woman, but you are completely wrong on politics! Una verdadera lastima!

When she's talking to her dancers, she remind me so much of Diddy, their resolve and determination to succeed is crazy. They both take themselves alittle too seriously though but I guess that's why they're so successful.
@soureviews12772 жыл бұрын
Now that KZbin has introduced the "most replayed moments" feature in their new update, you can clearly see why Jennifer Lopez is the one getting a documentary about her Superbowl Halftime show. The most watched moments are all JLO's parts and by miles and miles, the moment she makes her entrance it goes up in the graph then it peeks at the get right dance break then El Anillo/LDCAT dance break then the Let's get loud booty shake with Shakira, and the moment she leaves the stage it goes down, while Shakira's part is dead until hips don't lie ....the stats don't lie. LEGEND.
@alphaxena7952 жыл бұрын
Yeah. You are factually wrong, sales numbers and views around the world prove it. If Shakira felt like having a Netflix documentary she would (If they can pay her enough). 😉 JLo is great too, but she's into being in the public eye more.

Jlo You are my idol, my role model, when I feel down and I think I can’t Your music, this song from the block got me every time, I feel llike a diva too, your movies, specially made it manhattan such of sweet, funny, has influenced me in some way, your shows, like American idol, you are stunning! Your perfumes, your fashion makes me feel like I am queen, haters can says wherever, but you are a superstar, that shines all the time, and clouds can try to fade your light but you keep on shining even more bright more strong than before! Thank you for your dedication, and everything you do to inspire people like me!

I am not sure what the admiration is all about? The only thing to me is her work ethic. She is not Jenny from the block, and highly doubt she can relate. Where some see a human side to her, all I saw was a sense of entitlement and grandiosity. Even during her Thanksgiving dinner at home, spotlight was on her. I did not realize she was a person of "color", because she is Puerto Rican. Is she a person of color? Or is this something that seems opportunistic of her to say? Also, did no one catch her diss at Shakira in the documentary where she says something to the effect (would have to watch again to remember exact words, but can't bring myself to) that a show can't just be "shaking your ass and belly dancing"? Where others see admiration, I just don't. I see someone very narcissistic and entitled who just can't seem to stop bringing attention to herself in whatever way she can. JLo was in the Presidential inauguration yes, but it was Lady Gaga who stole the show with her true vocal talent. JLo was in the Superbowl halftime show, but it was Shakira who truly shined, and sorry, but she didn't even need to be half naked to do well. Get over it JLo. You didn't get to do the whole show. So what.

She says she’s not political, but she’s interested in human rights. I’ve got some interesting news, that’s politics. She’s decent in movies, better at music; after all, she’s apparently, the first Latina to do, well, anything & everything, the hardest worker, & the best..just ask her.
