Seeing complex characters on screen making decisions that are in line with their goals only to learn from their mistakes is what I believed made this show so impactful. The message of "Perfection is Brittle" will stick with me for a long time. Give the writers and animators ALL the time they need for the writing to be GOOD. Please Green light enough seasons for the show to have a good definitive resolution for these characters.

So excited! I’m also interested in seeing how they deal with the issue of a language barrier. Assuming that all the characters are speaking in Japanese and the show is “translating” for us, will they have the Londoners speaking in a different language? Mizu would surely have some sort of language barrier, so I really want to see how they plan this out.

Personally , if i had to give a 1st place for top series of the year , this one would be my entry. It just , didn't miss. Story , choreography , lines & the proper lengths gone to actually convey emotions & feelings on the characters animations. not to mention the character development each has throughout the story... I just need more 😂 Awesome show , and i really appreciate what the writers did , & i like how quickly they actually acknowledged the shows success.. 🤣 Really excited to see where this story goes.

I hope they have a beginning, middle, and end planned out. I'd hate for a show like this to drag on to satisfy viewers without just focusing on the story. I hear they didn't even think it was going to be renewed for season 2 and didnt think season 1 would do so well, so they didn't start 2 at all. So hopefully, it ends up all right. I could see the entire show and its story ending with 3-4, and at most, 5 seasons. Anything more would be too much. Honestly, I can't believe this came from Netflix, of all places. Always thought the last great serialized animated tv show they produced was Bojack Horseman. Would have said Arcane, but Netflix only distributed that.

Also about her not speaking the language she has fowler and i imagine they will just maybe do the cliche mini time skip and give her some basic english comprehension so she can at least sort of communicate with locals but fowler and the 2 guys that are maybe her father will speak japanese.

This is masterpiece from world of 3d animation , best of best of 2023 , This series gives so many emotions - from joy and surprise, to sadness and devastation, cruel, brave, cool, with very unusual decisions in the script, talks about where the path of revenge leads. I would say that this is the Last of Us II from the world of samurai) Legendary series! I'm waiting for season 2 Netflix beauties!
