It also showed the other friends that despite them hating Luke for freezing up in that store, they were hypocrites all along due to being paralyzed with fear when their own lives were on the line, and luke stepped up to redeem himself.

It was rather boring and like, you already know from the beginning who's going to survive and who isn't. It was dark and not scary (I get scared easily). Some ideas were really good like the design of the "monster". The ending made me angry bc it just stops and I want to know what's happening afterwards!! Also the story went by too fast. The only thing I really liked was the forest and the mountains. Looked beautiful but the rest was not interesting. 2/5

I'm so glad I have started to watch trailers after I watch the movie. I had no idea of what to expect so everything came as a suprise. The trailer shows almost all the surprises. One of the best horror films in Netflix. Love the setting , the feel , the characters , the guilt and cowardice point of the story , badass creature , cool deaths , good banter , great direction overall . 8/10 i recommend it. I've seen it twice and couldn't get enough.

Watched The Ritual 2017 today, went in with no high expectations and I was rly surprised by how good this movie was. The pace at how the tense was building up was paced rly well. No cheap jump scares, just the overall movie atmosphere made this so creepy and scary to watch. I highly recommend this movie to any horror fan.

I like this type of movie. Suspenseful, good writing, great movie setup, great acting and no exaggeration on it whatsoever, and no haunting ugly faces. I don't like to watch horror movies whatsoever, but if i have to watch one, i would go back to this movie day in day out. 10/10 from me

Real review: Keeps you on edge throughout! There is a possibility you would feel that the starting is a bit slow but it gets better and better. Very intense and has an actual meaning. One of the best movies on netflix 👍

BadmashFactory that's how casting works. They want a type, if you look similar to someone huge or have a unique look you will get cast faster than just anyone. Character probably reads as a Ryan Reynolds type.
