ya its the same re-hash. rave master was pretty interesting... fairy tail.. no.. this like like fairy tail in space so pass. one trick ponies do not last long. a lot of long running good mangaka know how to tweek their style enough to fit the genre their story takes place in. rumiko the inuyasha creator also did ranma 1/2 and both look worlds different. this straight up uses the same cells near abouts, just recolored.

@@azura-moonstar reading the manga i wouldn't say its exactly fairy tail in space, but there are certainly aspects of fairy tail in this series. however those same aspects were in rave master too so its kind of not fairy tails fault. i do like this series though because it does rip on some of the tropes fairy tail had. the aspects i don't like though are elise. the character who is erza. and certain villain names are reused in this series from fairy tail

people really gotta stop blindly hating on Eden's zero because of Fairy tail man, friendship is still the theme, they have the same character designs (and happy) but I encourage you to read it first before hating, because friendship its not used as a crutch to win fights like Fairy tail and its got a very cool power system, and the fights in the manga are extremely cool and easy to follow, and the use of gravity, kinetic energy combined with martial arts make it very unique and interesting and most importantly they make since and even use real science to explain things, and story wise its really damn interesting as well. don't get thrown off by the friendship talk, "the power of friendship" and friendship itself are very different. And Hiro Mashima even made a afterword on one of the early volumes of Edens zero explaining why Fairy tail ended up the way it was. it was never planned to be a long lasting story from start to finish like Rave and Edens zero, and on top of that he and his team were under very bad working conditions due to the weekly schedule and not using digital art and just only being 3 people, so it caused him to rush pretty much half the story, and he had to write everything on the fly. The reason it kept going was most likely due to it being a huge success compared to Rave, and it was one of the only big shonen battle in the kodansha magazine that was popping off at the time, its really sad actually... half the community gives him shit for something that was out of his control.

I REALLY hope people don't toss the series aside just because the designs are "almost" the same an cause they don't like Fairy Tail. Edens Zero's showing a MASSIVE improvement in Hiro's storytelling, where he's maitaining everything good his series had and impeoving on the bad stuff. Yeah, you can say "Oh but the ecchi is still there" and I won't say you're wrong, but until now, even this has been improved. Edens Zero is proving to be a very good series and Mashima is proving himself with it and I hope people give it an honest chance!. And I can GUARANTEE you it has ZERO power of friend "bullshit" or Power of Friendship power ups, as people like to call it! Making friends now is just Shiki's notivation cause he spent all his life alone

It's not just because of power of friendship. The fanservise is problem too. Fairy tail is for kids so it's ok to have power of friendship (there's my Little pony with it too and nobody say shit about it. well, Fairy Tail actually didn't *end* , the actual story that is. The manga/anime only ended because the author didn't want to continue it (understandable, after drawing it for so many years in a row) So Mashima started on a new manga (this one), but since the Fairy Tail story wasn't over, but he still stopped, he entruested the continuation of it to his friend who is now making the final part of the Fairy Tail manga. Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest Not only have they said that his friend is merely drawing and Mashima has decided the story, which means it's the continuation of Fairy Tail. Because, the "ending" wasn't really an ending to the whole story at large, it was just the ending of an Era in Fairy Tail. And it's obvious furthermore that he had all of this, including the 100 year quest part, figured out from chapter one, as they talk about it in pretty great detail the first time you are introduced to Gildarts. Fairy Tail will be back with the continuation to the story, the beginning of a new adventure. It might take a few years though, as the manga has now been going on for what.. 2-3 years? And there are only 80 chapters, so he's not drawing at a week-to-week basis which means, there has to be at least 120+ chapters before you even start thinknig about an anime adaptation. But don't worry, it's defenetly coming :) so yes, ofc Fairy Tail isn't dead yet.

My point wasnt to correct you, It was to point out that the "end" of Fairy Tail never was an ending, even though it was (due to circumstances mentioned). So bare with me here. After seeing the whole story of Fairy Tail, it's pretty obvious that the so called """ending""" was only like a "season ending" if that makes sense, so this is more like a pause (for us) and with that in mind and also how it actually ended in the last arc, the obvious conclusion is that the 100 Year Quest arc was always intended to be part of the same manga he started writing. But I guess this is a problem with this guy in general. The anime suffered pretty greatly due to inconsistencies like this, inconsistencies in the real world affecting how the anime was made and it was split up into 3 seasons, when it's obvious it should be possible to have all of them in 1 the problem with that being obviously, several years inbetween crucial parts of the story that you got to see in the anime and in the process maybe even forgetting some key plot points, but most of all your interest over time in something will naturally drop if it's not satisfied. Hopefully that's solved now though with Mashima, probably just telling his friend the story and he is the free to draw it out. Meaning, if the guy is more hard working then there might not be any inconsistencies, which naturally leads to way better circumstances for a smooth anime adaptation. But the fact remains, the obvious circumstances of how this 100 year quest actually should've been part of the anime to begin with, which means, there will without any doubt be an anime adaptation of it. Because without it, the story is not comlete.

The reason why is honestly rather simple... the manga market is a fucking mess! The sheer quantity of isekai and shonen rip-offs and copies of other shonen and isekai out there makes it horrible to navigate that landscape. There are many manga I've let pass me by and later read them by recommendation, because it's like fishing for gold among an ocean of shite!

According to Wikipedia, Edens Zero's music has been composed by Yoshihira Hirano, who worked on HUNTER X HUNTER (2011) and DEATH NOTE. I think it's a really good new, since Edens Zero has some dark plots and scenes. No doubt that man will make us fell this darkness and pain. I first was worried that it will be the same composer than Fairy Tail. Though i love is work, I think it wouldn't fit on EZ.

They are going on adventure just like luffy who's island hopping while here they are going to every planet. There are also warlords who rules some area in cosmos then of course there is space marines.

So I'm not pissed at Eden looking exactly like fairy tail, to be more precise I'm pissed off at mashima's lack of creativity and lazy ass character writing, and what does character looking similar has to do with crossovers? And just to remind you toriyama copied characters that are there for only one or at most 5 episodes and are mostly side characters while the entire fockin cast of Eden is literally fairy tail, you've got black haired natsu, pallete swapped Lucy, grey with actual grey hair, adult Wendy, fuckin carbon copy of erza and just straight on grabbed happy and plue and brought them here. I dont know but I feel mashima is one of the most lazy, uncreative and shitty character writer I've ever seen. Hell he may even be one of the worst plot and twist writer, with no tension in his story whatsoever, I hope that people's claims that Eden will have a dark and serious plot later is true because I got phished into watching fairy tail by a mashima worshiper who said fairy tail is the best anime, it has best plot it will make you cry and be on your edge every second, it has the best characters and yadi yada, I hope you all aren't lying that Eden will have a dark plot cuz I love higurashi and vivy fluorite eye song, so Im gonna give this a try.

A fight is literally shit if it doesn't make sense. Just like how a plot has to make sense, so does a fight. Oh and fairy tail doesn't even have a plot does it? Well not every good show has to have a plot I guess. But there's still numerous things wrong with it. Its character designs are copied from a lot of other shows, and there's too much unnecessary fan service. And one thing I absolutely hate is that in a fight they'll bring up a power up out of nowhere and it'll never be seen ever again for most of the power ups. But you can still ofcourse personally like it, just like I do. Hell you can even like boku no pico if you wanna.

@@PainAmvs_ Every 10 chapters is a volume. So if I had to guess, that wouldn’t be covered in season 1. However if the studio is good at pacing, then maybe. It’d also depend if there’s a lot of dialogue per chapter, as well as fights. A fight that lasted 8 chapters could be blown through in 1 episode. I’ve never read it so I can’t help more than that. I’ve never really seen a season 1 make it to chapter 100 in season 1 though.

Space is such a vast canvas to work on and when Mashima-sensei amalgamates elements of fantasy and adventure onto that canvas you get a wondrous experience with lovable characters journeying through uplifting stories. For those who are frustrated over the similar character designs: those are Mashima’s masterpieces, his cherries on top. They’re what makes Mashima’s stories so unique and original, especially the reappearance of Plue and Happy. The creator can do whatever he wants with his characters, but at the same time he wants to make each and every one of them different emotionally and personality-wise.

This show is nothing like Fairy Tail, only similarities really is the character design and style, but they’re by the same creator. Trust me, once you read it this series gives you a much different feeling than fairy tail did. It’s much darker than fairy tail ever was.

I'm gonna be completely honest, I'm scared about Netflix licensing this. As much as its nice to see a big company setting their sites on this amazing series, their binge policy means they won't release it until all episodes are finished airing. This limits how many people will be able to hop on board and take note of this anime!! Especially since it probably won't stream anywhere else (aside from Hulu, but who knows if that's still happening considering how greedy Netflix is).
