Really REALLY recommend this so much! The comedy is top tier, no seriously i couldnt stop laughing!!! Everything was sooo exaggerated (the jojo faces killed me😭) that it was ridiculously hilarious! And even then, they were able to showcase the romance and even the drama seamlessly (its impressive cause it really involved serious topics, and im glad they didnt hold back in showing how terrifying it actually is). The pacing is very good as well! The cast was very likeable and everyone got a decent screentime :) I can see why this is on netflix. Maaannn i need season 2 asap. Anzu chan best girl !

You don’t understand. This TRAILER does not give the anime justice. It is AMAZING. Definitely at the top of my fav shoujo anime list. THE DEPTH of the characters. You know, when a shoujo heroine is either bossy and arrogant or naive and shy, well not in Romantic Killer. She has actual common sense and empathy but also a strong sense of justice and I JUST LOVE IT. The male leads are really great, have an actual backstory lol and do not fall head over heels for the heroine because she is „different“ (the weird different). If you like SPY x Family, watch it. If you like Fruits Basket, watch it. If you like slice of life, watch it. School life, watch it. JUST watch it!

Coming from someone who does not usually enjoy shojo and harem anime, this far exceeded my expectations of being a guilty pleasure light watch. Very fun, cute, with surprisingly fleshed out and likeable characters. I found the first couple episodes annoying because the heroine is unarguably very loud and some of the scenes felt extra, but you'll surely grow to love her. I just watched the final episode of season 1. This was hands down best romanic comedy anime I’ve seen in a long time. This is DEFINITELY in my top 3 anime of the year too! The art and animation blew me away as well. It was gorgeous and stunning and I love this anime’s style. Some parts of the artwork looked realistic which was pretty awesome to me at least. The attention to detail they put into the artwork was impeccable. I also loved how the backgrounds felt alive. For example, they took the time to animate random people walking, cars driving and other small things that helped with immersion. ❤ The characters were full of life with interesting backstories that kept me engaged the entire time. Anzu and Riri were hilarious! 😂 This anime really put me in a good mood and helped me unwind after work. My wife and I binged watched it in like 3 days! 🙌 WE NEED SEASON 2!!!!!! Make it happen Netflix!

Her Hell sounds like mine with having to partake in romance ONLY BECAUSE the actual things she loves got taken. I'm so watching this. Also, finally! The shoujo genre is slowly making a combat with FMCs actually feeling like real life women going through shiet that isn't always pleasant to us (romance for example here). Edit: Not shoujo apparently, but still a FMC that's pretty meh with love is refreshing.

I was blown away by this series, and Im actually hella happy at how seamlessly they developed Anzu’s character and her relationships with all the guys and Riri. The pacing is chef’s kiss, and I love how they did a twist on all of the romance cliches like Anzu being ontop of Kazuki, and being involved with fangirls. Please renew Netflix, this is hands down one of the best 'shojou' romance animes in a long time. It was right up there with legends like Ouran and Kaichou Wo Maid-Sama. It was that good!!!

@@rifasclub okay first of all shoujo is a *genre* just like shounen and has nothing to do with the gender of the protagonist although each genre does typically have a certain gender as the protagonist. Second, count all the anime released every year and tell me the percentage of girl leads vs boy leads. Then tell me how many of those few girl lead anime aren’t fluffy romance or slice of life or idol or kids magical girl or fetish. Actually you don’t have to, I know the general percentages. I’m not trying to be mean here, but the facts don’t lie. So I’ll be excited about my few girl lead anime that actually look good, thank you.

I like we slowly seeing animes where the female protagonist is actually quirky like idk MOST GIRLS IN REAL LIFE. So I hope this trend will keep going Edit: Just gonna say this once cuz it seems many here don’t know what quirky means and just know the definition through internet posts, TikTok’s and such which yeah it’s pretty sad for this generation😄 but quirky means “ out of the ordinary in short words” it doesn’t mean goofy, egirl or anything. Just someone who can be anything, doesn’t follow one thing. So by this what you think I mean? Yeah takes critical thinking which yeah most don’t here as I can see; but I mean she’s not the typical girl protagonist you see in romance slice of life. Those characteristics you see in other characters that make them more interesting you mostly see them in the SIDE characters which is why many prefer them and don’t lie and say it’s not true cuz y’all know side characters are more beloved lmao. But I’m sooo sorry for most who just spend their whole day online instead of studying a little bit and get mad over the simplest things :/ truly depressing! But helpful for me!

This anime is amazing! I never love a MC as much as I love Anzu. She is quirky, yet not too much, not weird, not stubborn, or overly dense. She is realistic and has a great common sense like how a real person without love experience whatsoever would be, I hope there will be second season soon

This anime is a perfect combination of light-hearted romance and comedy with more serious life/relationship issues woven in. You will laugh every five seconds, be delighted by the characters, get invested in their story, and watch it again and again. (I've already watched through it 3 times every episode) Even my boyfriend likes this, and he hates anything to do with romance or rom coms! Please Netflix, give us second season next year!!!! we need it :)

i haven't watched anime in years but coming across this which has such a relatable MC, i couldn't resist - and i'm glad i didn't! this was a really refreshing story, with enough romance tropes and gags to keep you entertained but also with some real character development that gets you emotionally invested. nothing felt rushed, and **SPOILER** I'm glad it ended with Anzu only developing a real friendship with all the characters rather than any real romance starting. not only does it give me hope for a season 2, but it felt like a natural direction for the story and the characters.
