Lin pretty much met with him and unofficially casted him for this film in 2018, and for the next 2 years, while Lin and Stevenson were busy doing research and finalizing the script, it gave Andrew time to take formal singing lessons so he was ready by the time they filmed this in 2020

No hate for Andrew Garfield, but that's absurd. He's one of the most well-known actors in Hollywood, has been praised multiple times for his acting range, his interviews have millions of views, he has been nominated for an oscar and stars in several blockbusters. How is he in any way underrated? The fact that he's an Hollywood actor alone is enough for him not to be underrated. There are hundreds of actors outside of Hollywood that are a lot better than 90% of Hollywood actors and they get completely ignored by the masses. Those actors are underrated.

Lyrics : Stop the clock Take time out Time to regroup Before you loose the bout Face the thrill Back it up Time to refocus Before they lap it up Year's are getting shorter The lines on your face are getting longer Feel like you're treading water But the riptide's getting stronger Don't panic, don't jump ship Can't find it, like taxes At least it happens Only once in your life They're singing, "Happy birthday" You just wanna lay down and cry Not just another birthday, it's 30/90 Why can't you stay 29 Hell, you still feel like you're 22 Turn 30 in 1990 Bang! You're dead, what can you do? What can you do? What can you do?

No one ever talks about Never Let Me Go! Thank you for mentioning it - it was one of the first times I remember seeing Andrew Garfield on film (after Social Network I guess) and he was absolutely heartbreaking. That entire film is and I love all the acting, but he just destroys (in a good way! good sad way). He has seemingly limitless talent, just so impressive

I also think comparing them leads to some other interesting contrasts between them though. I think they share a lot of themes and principles in their work, but they come from very different perspectives on them since Burnham rose to fame before he could even process what that meant while Larson died just as his career was about to take off.
