Here's something that not everyone normally sees in action, primarily due to preferring to being at home in the warm instead!
Every occasion, Network Rail run one of their Rail Grinding sets on the network in order to grind the railhead to keep the wear on the rail evenly distributed.
Set 'C2102', or DR79241/247 was in Essex and Suffolk on this instance, and it can be seen here at Moze Farm just north of Colchester, and finally at Manningtree, working 6Z02 from Parkeston to Parkeston via Marks Tey and Ipswich.
