@stusvend Your point is valid. They were not the first ones to come up with this idea. But it is common sense to associate this kind of music with Richard James. And this sort of thing is not common. Now with your paralelism: driving a car is something common, there's no imitation in that. But this seems (to me) like an imitation. R. James popularized this kind of music. He may not be the first one to do it, but he popularized this (involuntary or not). But don't get me wrong, I like this...!
