Neurographica and abstract watercolor

Today's video is an exploration in an abstract floral underpainting with neurographic lines on top.
Supplies:
Daniel Smith watercolors in: Quinacridone Coral, Lemon Yellow and Green Apetite Genuine.
Dailer & Rowney 1/2" sword brush
St. Cuthberts Mill Bockingford cold press watercolor block (9"x12")
MT washi tape
Writech 0.5 colored fine liners in dark red and olive

I believe I got it at Blick. I’ve had it for a really long time and I don’t remember specifically but I buy most of my supplies through Blick.

just a suggestion - while i like the piece & the opening details you provided as inspiration for us to try it, I can't believe you spent so much time having us watch you widen some of the lines or thicken where the lines intersected. just say "I'm gonna thicken the lines where I think it's called for", show doing it in one or two spots, stop recording, and start recording again when you're finished, saying " there. that's done." I kept watching cuz i thot u were gonna do something else. I didn't subscribe cuz I didn't wanna waste anymore time. it's your site & run if as you wish, of course, I'm just sayin' -- there was no reason to watch something hundreds of times when it was obvious after 1 or 2.
