Also, sleep and animal protein are the 2 most important things to get everything out of your genetics during puberty. I heavily neglected both of those so I could’ve been 6’4 or 6’5 potentially😕.

@shreygaming4551 I am in a family of giants 😅 crazy part is we aren't skinny either, my dad was a strong man and weighed upwards of 375lbs, I myself am around 250lbs, and both my brothers float around 400lbs, also weirdly enough, other than my 7ft+ brother, I have the biggest feet and hands of the family, Even though I'm 6'5" I still wear size 19 shoes, and dont get me started in trying to find gloves or rings. I've gone back for both my families history and there's two things I'm certain of, my mother side is all vikings, and my dad has a genetic defect, cause he's Hispanic and his dad wasn't even 5'4", his family average was 5'7" but he was still popped out at 6'0", pretty sure it was passed down to my brothers as it's hard to belive we all got this tall without it. Scared for the next generation of my family, we might have some records broken but being 6'5" can be a pain in the back and knees (doesn't help that my wife's 4'11" and that I was a semi professional cage fighter)

I was a late bloomer and the smallest kid in the class at 14 with 5'4, now I am 21 at 6'3 and many people don't recognize me from before, because of that increase in height. What is also interesting, people told me I was taller when I lost weight and started working out, and it was actually true that losing about 30 pounds gained me an inch more height.

I hit puberty just before I was 10 and everyone thought I was a freak, saying my deep voice was fake and I was just after attention, even some teachers didn’t believe me until my mother had to explain to them it was puberty. Had a hairy chest by 14 and got stared at by other guys especially when in the changing room at school.. really made me feel uneasy! Everyone assumed I would most definitely hit a growth spurt but in the end my final height reached just 5 ft 6 at around 15 years old. I’ll be completely honest it’s caused me to have insecurities for years thinking I did something wrong or maybe I didn’t eat enough as a teenager. I started working out at the gym two years ago and slowly getting my confidence back. I think finding hobbies and going out of my comfort zones and socialising with more people and just dressing well has had a big impact on my overall confidence.

6 feet 1 inch is good height. above 6 feet 2 inches, you started to lose advantage of being tall. so 6 feet 1 inch is 100 times more ideal than 6 feet 4 inches. In medical terms, 6 feet 4 inches is not healthy height, not optimal, because medical issues start to arise once you cross 6 feet 4 inches. so optimal height is 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 2 inches.

@@do.2808 it is not too terrible. It is just not advantegeous and many problems started like shorter lifespan, or chances of other tallness related health issues increases once someone cross 6'2. NBA players has shorter lifespan than average. Please google it. Optimal human height is 5'7 to 6'2. I said people who think being too tall is advantegous, they are wrong literally. Being 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet is 100 times more healthy than being 6 feet 5 inches or above.

Male, 5’4, 16 (turning 17 soon), 150 Pounds I have a somewhat of a good build, but I am a bit concerned about height. Late fourth grade my voice went deeper, nono spot started growing, and the Pediatrician said i’ll be 6’1 when i visited him in 6th Grade. But i haven’t grown from 5’4 since, i am in Junior year of highschool and still 5’4. My pediatrician looked at the growth chart again a couple months ago and said i was done growing, so he went from, (you’ll be 6’1-you’re done growing at 5’4). I’m just hoping i have another spurt of growth, even to 5’9. My Dad is 5’4, Mom is 5’1, Grandma is 4’7 or around there, and my Grandpa was 5’11.

I was always the shortest in all my classes. From 9th to 11th(the start of it) I was shorter than half the girls. I started my growth spurt at 16.5. I went from 4’8(maybe more)to 5’4 in a year. The growth has slowed down. I hope to be 5’7 but I’m not too hopeful. My mother is 4’10 and my dad is 5’10. Strangely my height didn’t significantly affect my strength.

I hit puberty at almost 14. I was always tallest 5 kids in the class, then until 6-7th grade. i started to fell off. I was 5'3 when i was 13.5. and 5'5 by 14, then 5'9.5 at my 15th. 5'11 at my 16th birthday. Now i'm a little under 6'0, at 16 years and 2 months old. Im probably gonna hit 6'1-6'2 by the time im 18

Also forgetting that height is also influenced by environment not just puberty lol. If you grow up eating bs and not active you're probably leaving some height on the table. More for the parents than anything

I grew from 15 until 19, then from 23 until 26 for like a cm. But im not tall so i dont know. I think tall people grow suddenly and shorter people grow in longer periods because you dont see a very tall guy when he is short

True, I hit puberty at 11. Had a pretty rapid hormonal growth spirt despite being so small compared to everyone else. In elementary on picture day we had to line up tallest to shortest and with me and the other 2 kids it was like a contest every year between us because no one wants to be last lol. I was 3rd to last!! and then went down to 2nd to last in 6th grade. I grew to be 4’11” by 13 years old. By the time I was 16-17 I went to the doctors for some reason and my doctor literally did a double take on my charts and was like “oh sweetie you haven’t grown in height for 3 years, looks like you’re not gonna grow anymore!” i don’t know why she had this poor baby attitude about it while I just thought it was funny.😂Im 22 years old now and she was right, im still 4’11”! 😂

When you enter puberty doesn't really matter all that much. It's your where your starting height is when you enter puberty. If a 13 year old starts puberty at 5'8, they're probably gonna be taller than a 15 year old who starts puberty at 5'3

bro I advise you to ask your parents to consult a doctor. Just to make sure it's going well. because if you entered puberty too early this will prevent you from reaching your maximum height potential. Trust me, I went through puberty when I was 10, now I'm 16 and I'm 5'5. If you don't do something now you risk feeling regret later
