This was a pleasant surprise! Great runner! Really interesting game that I've never even heard of. Man how many dark rooms had he managed to memorize? Really impressive. Loved the energy of the couch as well. Such awesome spritework in this game too. Wonder why I've never heard about it?

@@NerfedFalcon EXP-based progression, EXP routing and grinding are relevant splits/points in the run. It's flimsy but it has more RPG elements than Zelda does

strange on the US version, those two bat bosses if you come in at the center of the door and wait, they will come together on top of each other and you can hit both at the same time and almost kill them before the split. It is a lot faster of a fight. It is never random. Let me know if you ever want to compare some notes. I had pretty good time and information for at least the first 2 worlds which is where I spent the most time trying to speed run.

omgwtfbbq Normally I would agree with you but considering one of the couch felt the need to brag about her ability to read Japanese then I think it’s a fair thing to point out.

@@cringeycronk6710 And you should rewatch the part you're arguing with before trying to point something out: they never said the japanese name of the spells were Fire / Fira / Firaga, they said it was appropriate to call them like that as it was a classic recurence in rpg's to have spells named like that, even in the english version of the games wich were more common in the marathon. To be honest I don't even know why Hairo is saying the pronounciation is wrong, I mean, these names ARE used in any classic jrpg xD. From that point, you can use the japanese pronounciation or the english one, both are correct. Also, she never bragged even for a second about her being able to read japanese: heck she didn't say she was able to. She simply talked about the japanese names of some items and stuff, wich knowledge could easily come from any wikia or source. They are running the game in japanese so it's normal to know how x or y items are called in that version.

I won't lie. The constant talk of everything being inspired by Neutopia got irritating to me after a while.
