Celestia waking up after the hydro throne being destroyed seems like something that will happen, i remembered the sumeru archon quest where nahida threatened to destroy the gnosis and wake up celestia. im not sure if it was a bluff but dottore seemed like he knew something would happen if nahida did. so in natlan, maybe we'd encounter celestia's influence?

The Egeria part is wrong. It's actually Focalors (the divine counterpart to Furina after the Focalors-Furina divine/human split) who died and gave Neuvillette the Authority, but that's the only thing he got wrong as far as I know. He correctly predicts the rest.

Gnosis doesn't gave the Nvuellete the full dragon hood, he gained it when Facolor destoryed the hydro archon throne. Gnosis doesn't affect his dragonhood, he said it himself that it has no use to him. He needed his authority which is differnt from gnosis which is a oart of 3rd descender

I agree that the gnosis is inside the Oratrice, but I still do think Furina is the archon. I think Furina and Focalors are the same thing, just split into 2. Furina is the “figurehead” while Focalors resides inside the Oratrice as the actual Archin.

Besides its very hard for Egeria to be involved with the Oratrice since it was built on Erinnyes around 400+ years ago around the same time Neuvillette became Iudex. Egeria died 500 years ago in Sumeru creating the pool of Amrita. It's highly unlikely she manage to make the Oratrice after her death.

It was done with the aid of one of Phanes 4 shades not just Makoto. The oratrice was actually built along with the opera epiclese decades after her death. There's also hints that Fontaine's justice system was completely overhauled after Furina took power and Egeria's consciousness is tainted that's why Rukkha had to tie her consciousness down in the Harvisptokhm because she can no longer be reborn on a higher plain. Also Egeria is sympathetic with the dragons and according to the Fontaine glider has committed a sin because of it. It's going to be hard for her to do anything post death unless Istaroth some how gets involved again. This is why I don't think it's Egeria because there so much going on with her that doesn't allow for it.

Nahida hinted that destroying a Gnosis could awake Celestia. And it makes sense, if Celestia notices that their authority is being stolen, they would act immediately. So my theory is that Furina is working on farming so much indemnitium so she could return the stolen power to Neuvillette, but in a way that Celestia CANNOT notice the authority is now back with the dragon. And that is why she acts as an entertainer, because she´s preparing to give away her powers (and Fontaine to get used to have a CELEBRITY rather than a Ruler), and that´s why she´s so weak. Venti also said the archon powers come from the people faith, and the indemnitium is a manifestation of the people´s faith. So she´s giving up ALL HER POWER in order to pass it back to the dragon.

Yeah everyone seems to forget about this... or they just didn't do it. I did notice a lot of streamers in particular that still have the void in the sky raining down. I suppose it could still be possible in that Egeria could have split into multiple forms so she is both within the tree in the desert and within the Oratrice. I think it's more likely that Furina has done the splitting though and thus it's her within the Oratrice.

And, I've got another theory. WARNING!! Consists of "Masquerade of ther Guilty" Spoilers. At the very end of the archon quest, we heard about the descenders. And how Gnoses existed because of the Third descender's death. Now, we know of the Primordial one and the Second who came. If Traveller (The one we play as) is the fourth descender, then who is the 3rd one? I know it sounds kinda insane, but I have a feeling it's the abyssal twin. Why? It could be presumed that the abyssal twin who landed in Teyvat passed away, and was somehow brought together or once again after Kaen'riah's cataclysm. The gnoses were released as side powers, but this theory wouldn't really make sense, again another reason could be, that at the end of Sumeru's Archon Quest, Nahida tells us, that if the "Tree" or wtvr that thing was can recall about the abyssal twin, that means the abyssal twin originally belonged to Teyvat no? But how's that possible if they descended from above, could only be possible if they died and got reincarnated in Teyvat, where the memories could be recorded 🤷‍♀🤷‍♀

actually no, a gnosis is a very very large bulk if not the entirety of an archons power i believe it was venti? or sometime way back in the early region. we were told about what is required to ascend to an archon and how anyone who has a vision can do it. my memory is really hazy but if i recall venti wasnt human he was a slime or like some pure energy? because he gained archonhood? and it is most of their power they just have always had it so long that when its taken they still retain a portion of it, like again ventais powers. "obv shogun is an exception" but like i dont think any of them have the ability to change form anymore, and given time i think they are still mortal?

A gnosis is only a SYMBOL of the archon’s control over one of the seven nations. The venti part you mentioned was just him using the powers of both the faith boost from his people + the gnosis which btw he could still wield elemental powers as he built a small hut for the people sheltering from the blizzard (so fkn cute tbh) before obtaining the gnosis.

Yea that's because the Gnoses were never theirs to begin with. So when they lose their gnoses, it doesn't affect their powers much. The Gnoses were never the source of Archon power. They were the source of power for the Sovereigns. Celestia wanted to weaken the Sovereigns so they stole their powers and then gave them to the Archons because they trust them for safe-keeping it

There are huuuge limits to this theory though: The Archons used the same techniques before getting a Gnosis that they are using now, even though they refrain from going all out. Zhongli's powers are the same since the creation of Teyvat, even before he won his Archon war. He's been throwing things out of the sky for eons, spears and meteorites alike. So these powers are his, not from the Gnosis. Moreover, the Zhongli we meet and play with doesn't use the Gnosis for combat. So the abilities the Traveler copies aren't from the Gnosis i.e the dragons, but from Zhongli. Ei and Nahida prove that the Traveler copies the abilities of the Archon, no matter if they have the Gnosis or not: they never used their Gnoses, but the Traveler still copied their abilities. Venti is one of the best proofs that the Traveler is actually copying the Archon's abilities, and not what powers the Gnoses (ie the sovereigns' authorities) offer them: he got his Gnoses taken from him, but he still has his abilities as the god of Anemo, the same abilities the Traveler copied when Venti still had his Gnosis. What I think: maybe the Traveler isn't specifically mimicking the Archon, but rather what the Irminsul and its leylines consider being the most powerful humanoid entity in the Nation. The leylines are the roots of the Irminsul after all. Since the Irminsul works like a supra-computer, an automatic system like this could very well be possible through the statues representing the 7. If Furina is (like some plausible theories suggest) indeed divided into two entities (the Oratrice and Furina), it would explain why she currently can't compare to Neuvillette in strength, thus isn't regarded by the leylines as a valuable subject of mimicking for the Traveler (they are outer cosmic beings after all), even though the statues of the Seven in Fontaine definitely depict her as the Archon.

@@joyhammer3148 I disagree. The traveller has abilities that look more like Azhdaha, Apep, Dvalin, and Neuvillette but just the literal budget version. Geo Traveler can spawn a geo construct, not necessarily a pillar like Zhongli and their burst is more like Azhdaha's and nothing like Zhongli's (geo Traveler doesn't get a shield either but that could be purely about game mechanics instead of lore). Dendro Traveler's abilities are strikingly similar to Apep's. Apep summons a mushroom/plant that does damage and also has an attack like dendro Traveler's skill. Dendro Traveler's burst is like Apep's mushroom/plant. Granted, we don't know about electro because there is no electro dragon to compare traveler to, but I'd argue that their attacks are nothing like Raiden's. Anemo Traveler summons tornados exactly like Dvalin and not Venti who summons almost like a black hole type of attack. I guess maybe traveler's skill is a bit like Venti's burst. Hydro Traveler has a similar water gun attack to Neuvillette's hydro canon and also heals with the water droplets that they create. Maybe this is JUST coincidence, but I find it weird that the coincidence is always between the Traveler and the nations' respective dragons. This also indirectly confirms the theory, at least a little bit, that the Tsaritsa is trying to take away powers from the Archons and return them to the dragons.

It makes sense, but at the same time I also feel like the traveller’s abilities are more like the mini version of each region’s dragons attack patterns than the archons. For example, Stormterror summoned tornado, Azdaha creates Geo shockwaves, Apep summoned the dendro lamp dealing damage, traveller’s E is basically Nuv’s attacking pattern etc. Which is why it makes sense for the traveller to be named “the descendant “ as their abilities are like those of previous sovereigns. It’s just my speculation, but I could be wrong

There are some documents in the ruins related to the Narzissenkreuz Ordo (if I remember its location correctly) where it says that both the Opera Epiclese and the machine were built some time after the arrival of the new archon and Neuvillette.

Plus, there's a leaked image of the whale that shows it coming out of an Abyss Portal similar to that of the Golden Wolflord. Meaning that this whale is also a Creature of the Abyss. Which also implies that the Abyss may have a role to play in the Atlantization of Fontaine.

Here’s my theory I feel there are 2 gods of furina and Focalors. Daughters of Egeria. Focalors is inside the oratrice doing justice stuff while furina is outside trying to gather attention and entertainment. This is all to gather indemnitium so they can use it on primordial sea. Since every archon has given their gnosis to Fatui it will be weird for Neuv to use it. And I feel since 4.2 is when furina releases it will also boost her sales even further

If this apocalyptic balance of power requires the gnosis, then if the fatui get THIS gnosis, there may be a total destruction of Fontaine. This would be great endgame content, but would essentially time gate everything we're doing now from future players... a huge mistake of game development.. unless they reestablish some kind of balance thst is then later imbalanced when we get to Schneznia... triggering the apocalypse, submerging fontaine as prophesied, but simultaneous to a global confrontation. Or as the video suggests, maybe both Neuvillett AND Furina can be made whole, she becoming a true archon, and he a true sovereign, and the disaster averted. But if the Tsaritsa ISN'T trying to give the gnosis to dragons bur collect them to force a direct confrontation herself or in some bee technology, as the fatui is always experimenting on such, then Neuivillett getting it would force a flaw in their plan.

The gnosis cannot be returned to Neuvillette because Arlecchino needs to eventually get it, otherwise the tsaritsa's plan will not progress. What Neuvillette will get instead is probably the abundant indemnitium that is gathered by the oratrice, something that only happened because Furina made the trials exciting by acting as a "perfomer", so more people attended them. That or he uses the Gnosis WITHOUT absorbing it, which I find unlikely to happen, given what Lyney said about Arlecchino's plans to use the Gnosis herself as well. As a last point, I think this line of Neuvillette explains the current state of Egeria : "I went to see an opera recently. It was about a lady whose personal charm and manipulative schemes allowed her to continue to dominate the affairs of the grand mansion where she lived even after her death, like a ghost that refused to be exorcised. The acting was impeccable, and the story exceptional. It also reminded me of the current state of affairs in the real world." So the chances of Egeria's conciousness still being alive inside the oratrice is very small in my opinion. She still dominates the affairs of Fontaine through the prophecy. It would also be hurting Furina's character if she wasn't the one to build the Oratrice (I personally think she did, not Egeria) Anyway that's all from me

We don't know anything about Egeria's actions to fight against the prophecy (yet). (Will we ever know? Did she even fought it?). She just told about it to Furina and died. Furina is the one who fights against the prophecy. Or was it Egeria's plan all along? To transfer responsibility to the heiress and don't deal with it? There are so many questions, but our genius theorists already "solved " this puzzle without seeing the main pieces of it.
