You make a good point! It's possible that the voltage measurement wasn't done correctly, or the voltmeter (VOM) wasn't set to the correct voltage range. Getting the settings right is crucial to obtaining accurate readings. Thanks for pointing that out! You're absolutely right! The correct scale setting on the voltmeter is essential for accurate voltage readings.

This is such an interesting trick! Reusing old batteries for a car key is a smart way to save money and reduce waste. How long does the battery last with this method? Thanks for sharing!
@AmazingSmart-ngth2 күн бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! Reusing old batteries for a car key is indeed a clever and eco-friendly solution. However, the battery life will depend on the specific battery type and the key's power requirements. Generally, the reused battery might last a bit less than a new one, as it could have reduced capacity. I recommend keeping an eye on the performance and replacing it once you notice a decline. Have you tried this method before, or is it something you're considering for the future?

@AmazingSmart-ngth2 күн бұрын
I get what you're saying! Sometimes, simple solutions are way more cost-effective and quicker. It’s easy to see why you might feel a small battery would do the job instead of a complicated DIY experiment. But, the fun in these projects is often the creativity and learning experience behind them, even if the immediate cost doesn’t add up. 😅 Do you prefer quick solutions over the more creative ones, or do you sometimes like experimenting with DIY?

@AmazingSmart-ngthКүн бұрын
The battery life for this kind of setup really depends on the components and how you use it. Typically, if you're using a small battery or makeshift setup, it might last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending on how much current is being drawn. For longer use, you would need a larger or more suitable battery. How do you plan to use it-just for short repairs or something that requires extended power?

How long will the power last? One day? 24 hours or less? I will just buy another battery !!
@AmazingSmart-ngthКүн бұрын
The power from a homemade solution like this is typically very limited and can last only for a short amount of time, depending on the size of the battery and the load. It could last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, but it's unlikely to last a full day. Buying a new, reliable battery is often the more efficient and safe option, especially if you need sustained power. Homemade solutions may work in emergencies or as a temporary fix, but they aren't as durable or safe as proper replacements. Have you had any issues with rechargeable batteries in the past?
