I have a Techy question for you. *Will Windows 11 make older Hardware, namely Processors, Obsolete when Microsoft ends support for Windows 10 in 2025?*

People have reported the Pro models as having an internal built in battery, lithium ion perhaps, that fails and is very difficult to replace and you have to open/pry it open to get to the internals to replace it. Ring doesn't sell it and not easy to find. So you may not have to recharge it but you might have to replace it or toss out $249 b/c you'll have to throw it out. Can you shed any light on this?

Although a good video I was disappointed that nothing was mentioned about how to charge. I just purchased a Ring Pro 2 hardwire video doorbell and Ring is saying the doorbell needs to be charged up to 100% "before" it's installed and that's what I needed help with.

There is an internal battery, see my comment below. Some users have reported early failure and they have to throw it out. Ring doesn't sell the battery and not easy to replace it even if you can find the battery.

Yes it uses the old doorbell chime so it just sounds like our normal old doorbell in the house. The Ring Pro 2 has a speaker on it and plays the Ring bell sound for the people ringing the bell.

Birds eye view is a bunch of bs.. just a feature for on the box. As a user there is absolutely zero reason to have it. Anyway great review! Very detailed

There is no battery in this doorbell camera. It's hardwired in. That's why the title says you never have to charge the battery.

I believe there's an internal battery. If you do a google search you will find Reddit articles and basically have to toss the doorbell out of the internal battery dies or be very handy to replace. Ring doesn't sell it. It may be a lithium ion battery. The Doorbell wired has an internal rechargeable battery and the wiring acts like a trickle charger, charging the battery. So not true that it doesn't have a battery. I called Ring and they admitted the Pro has an internal battery that is unlike the Doorbell Wired one@@johnh6902
