You did a great video with 10 one pump burpees and alternating barbell deadlift military press combo. That is a killer without targeting a lot of muscles and hitting the lungs. I appreciate that video.

BBs and DBs were the Nautilus machines of their era. Amazing inventions. Balanced, easily gripped, systematically progressable. Top 3 principles of training: 1) understand feast or famine/fight or flight, 2) know your goal, 3) sweat more in training then you do in battle. For some goals it might make sense to step over the bar to pick up a random rock and carry it for a mile.

I don't understand the whole machine logic. What about stabilising muscles? It's like fake strength and a recipe for injury in the long run. Sandbags are probably more functional, but not as fun as barbells like you say. In short, I agree! 😅

Ever since Sam Sulek everyone has been crowding around the smith machine…for once I can walk into a gym and hop on a bench or power rack…dont ruin it now.
