Never dull with these 2 (Hadassah and Ezekiel)

This is what it’s like trying to video with these two. Always want attention but neither like to share haha. Hadassah is 1 years old and Ezekiel is 4.

It’s amazing to see how the wolves understand James. They are wolves, so they are a bit naughty, but they know James loves them and they love all the lovins he gives them. “Lovins” is the best word to describe it: kissing them (totally sweet), petting them, playing with them, telling them how pretty they are. It can all be summed up with one word: lovins! I actually think it’s good that the wolves misbehave a bit, because that means that James has raised them with love, NOT with negative reinforcement. They aren’t afraid of James at all, which is the safest for James. James knows that just saying “no” and maybe a gentle push, gets his message across better than ANY other way!

why always bringing up the evil of the world...UTOPIA will never happen so why not focus on he GOOD? and BTW so many wonderful things the word ANCIENT world, didn have! civil rights. animals rights! sanctuaries, species protection, 1000s of charities! Research, preventive medicine, nutrition knowledge, amazing surgeons to repair cleft mouths )palate/chins/lips) many MANY corrective surgeries for people born with anomalies that the PREVIOUS world din have!..in fact in ancient world wars lasted 100 years, no way to find rapists and murderers, no DNA, and people were crucified on the streets and hanged and guillotined. You do a great job of walking that line between being firm in your expectations they play nice if they want your attention (grabbing her by the scruff of the neck), but also not forcing the issue and making yourself an enemy rather than ally (letting go when she pushed the issue) -using the incentive of positive attention, without being a pushover, and thus not making them feel like it's not their choice. Most people, even with dogs (where independence is less important to them), are totally unable to find that healthy middle ground.

We saw a bit of "assertion of dominance" from Ezekiel, the growlies, face-mouthing, and placing himself in a higher position, (and between her and James) was Zeke telling Haddie "I'm higher in the pack, I'm the boss, this is MY hooman, and I get all the lovins', so fluff off, sis!" Hadassah's reactions were ALMOST perfect submissive behaviors, ears down, tail held low, slinking away, and those warbly, whiney noises, but something in her eyes, and her "tone", if you will, doesn't quite ring true. She's tacitly accepting his claim to be 'top dog', but if she were human, she'd be sticking her tongue out and flipping him the bird as soon as his back was turned!😂

I envy you, you have my dream job! I'd be in heaven spending my day with wolves. As it is, I have a beautiful siberian husky girl (she's grey with a little bit of sable and the black dot on her tail, so she looks similar to many of the timberwolves we have here in Minnesota) and I talk to her the same way you talk to your babies. She's a big cuddle-bug and acts and plays more like a cross between a wolf and a fox than a dog. Wolves are not pets, but huskies are an absolutely wonderful - and smaller, and LEGAL - substitute, lol
