60 yrs. ago my family had intruders walk into our Unlocked house. Since then, I always lock the doors...(cars, too) and Never leave a door cracked open....Always have blinds or privacy curtains drawn at night. No one wants to think the worst of things that could happen; but they do...especially set back on the lot as your place is. As a home health nurse, my head was "on a swivel" assessing the areas I was in. Just a natural thing; especially these days. Sending you all love and God's protection! :) :)

I always keep my doors locked in the day. At night before I go to bed. I double check to make sure they are. I’ve also installed on the jam, A long striker plate, you just take off the little striker plate that comes with your door knobs. I bought a big double one that’s about 12 inches long, which is for your deadbolt and your door knobs And also remove those little tiny short screws that comes with the knob and throw them away. Get some screws that are about inch and a half to 2 inches long and use those. They will go through the new big striker plate and into the door frame not just barely in it like what most people have. It’s a little harder to kick in. Of course I do keep an automatic hole puncture in every room in my home so that it’s easily accessible.

Theives now have wifi blockers to block internet which affects wifi cameras and security systems. Get battery operated game cams.

I know you'll be watching everything... Oh you guys... Brandon said I didn't know we had all these big horn goats coming through... 🥰 And the next one a white with black spots I think... Came in with those little horns... I thought it was Adorable 😁💜💜💜🥰

Yes. I had a Ford excursion which had an electrical sort. The lights would go on and off or the horn would honk. Radio would come on by itself. Ford could never find the issue. So yes it happened to me.

Saw videos last night where a whole parking lot of cars headlights were flashing and emergency flashers were too late at night. Also a vid of street lights flashing around 1215 a m. Some ppl think it's maybe sun flares and due to flipping of the poles. If it happens again check overhead for drones or orbs.

Brandon it’s that time of the year that mice will looking for warm places to nest. Mice LOVE to destroy wiring harness to get the sheathing to build nest with! With your vehicles out in the open with the field mice they could create a short in your wiring harness. I had them create a short in my horn on a work truck and them crawling around in there on the bare wire they chewed the sheathing off would make my horn beep!

This was my first time stumbling upon you on KZbin. I watched your video and I totally believe you that something isn't right here. Things don't normally turn themselves on they turn themselves off but not on and off again. You have a right and a responsibility to your family to be Leary and questioning everything. I will continue to watch your videos I have subscribed

Branden, could you have accidently hit the key fob - if we hit our fobs by accident, the headlights will come on - just a suggestion! Love your family and your videos - hope Steph's wrist is getting better 😅😅
@EddyFamilyFarmАй бұрын
I didn’t have the fob close to me. Wish it had been that though. Thank you so much for the kind words and love for our family!

Thank you for a great video - so much in it I'm sure the Walkers mentioned to you that the pens from tractor supply are 50% off; would funding allow a couple of those now to reduce the number getting underfoot? Steph seems to be accomplishing so much one handed; it's super that she can, but Steph, please be sure you heal right 🙏 ~ at this rate Brandon is going to have so many bruises and other injuries from the goats, that you will be taking the lead for a while! I guess its one way to find all the issues, and which goats need to leave, but Shin pads and gloves sound like a must when surrounded by overexcited goats!

They live in the middle of a huge plot of their own land - they should be able to have doors open in the day, so long as the boundaries are secure - and enough variety of cameras about the place ~ worrying about human menaces as well as the other predators may be a step too far, if they want to be able to walk in and out unimpeded - it will be cold enough soon enough that everything will be closed up!

Ring cameras are very good and low cost. You can even have one for the front door that you speak through. All hooks up to phone also to neighbors notifications which is nice as they warn you if something strange is happening. You can hook up as many as you want we have them all around our house and also the voice one at front door.

Branden, you have probably either done this or someone suggested this: check Stef’s vehicle for recalls. The way vehicles are now a days any thing is possible. We unfortunately live in a world that requires us to have cameras and lock our doors. Thank you for sharing your life. Barb and Bill

In the early 70's, we had a door opener that would open the door around 0300hrs once every 4-5 months. Turned out to be a satellite that was broadcasting on the same frequency.

Time to put up a fence around all your birds at the chicken pen areas. And set your cameras as sensitive as needed. Along with motion sensors. I wouldn't take any chances. People are crazy and some even desperate because of lack of their own ability to provide for their own. Yes, sometimes strange things happen. But I wouldn't take any chances. You can always let the birds out during the day. That's just my thought. That way, there's no second guessing on the situation. 😊
