It's always a good idea to never hike alone. Also, I'm never going outside other than fall and early spring. Insects specifically ticks are the scariest things. . The horror story of becoming allergic to meat seems like hell.

I really loved this story. It shows to me that the ultimate horror is being alone in a scary situation, but also that we're never truly alone because someone is always looking out for us. The cat must have been his guardian angel. 😊

That ending had me teary eyed. I lost my dad almost 2& 1/2 years ago, and kinda wish I had a moment like that where he'd came back briefly to make sure I was okay. I really miss him. He was as important to me as much as the mom for this character. Cancer is such a horrorible thing to lose your loved ones too. I personally keep some of his ashes in a pendent so he is still part of my adventures in some small way. R.I.P. Dad... 😢😢😢❤❤❤ Thanks for another fantastic story, and happy Thanksgiving.

I have brain cancer. We only knew for 2 weeks that my dad had type 2 diabetes and stage 4 lung cancer. I want to get a tattoo that says F cancer 🎗️.

Ouch. Just so much ouch. Jan 26 will be the 4th year since my mom's passing... Lost her to pancreatic cancer. She loved her Orange boys. Her fluffy Zoycite and chonky George. I'm supposed to take her ashes back to Scotland and climb King Arthurs seat and spread her ashes from the top ... Where she and I tried and failed to reach, twice. This story could have been us. 😢

I had a cat come back to say goodbye to me (he had been run over a day or so before by a stranger) when I was a teenager. Everyone tried to tell me it was a dream because it happened when I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It was not. There were no lights, and I reached down to pet him and everything. Continued into the bathroom and turned on the lights only to realize that he was still dead. I've always been sensitive to those things, tho.
