I had moved on, had a good job, moved an hour away… He came back telling me he made a big mistake, but I was no longer interested in continuing with him. 2 years later he was still single, still waiting for me to change my mind, saying he’s either going to be with me or stay single. 🤣🤣🤣 this happened with my ex husband, he took me for granted. Many many times I reminded him to change but he said this “you can’t be with someone else because you are my wife under God’s law and under government’s law. I will put anyone who approaches you to jail”….2 days after that, the court sent him letters, I sued him and I wanted divorce. He was shocked 🤣🤣🤣

This is exactly what happened. I finally left after 17 years and he was so shocked and angry in spite of the fact that I did tell him that I was going to leave. He did tell me that he never believed that I would actually leave him. Of course now he wants to be everything that I said I was missing in the relationship. I've been away from him for 4 years now and no way am I going back to that, nor will I ever settle for more of the same. My standards are much higher now and as a result I am still single and having a great time with some amazing new friends.

That’s the worst part of ALL though. When a man knows his woman truly loves him, he resents her and abandons her. WTF 🤬. Happened to me THREE times in very serious marriage-intended relationships. I’m now in the growing percentage of women who are completely leaving the dating/romance scene in mass exodus. 😤 Men CANNOT love. And God help you if a man knows you love him and are devoted to him. F that. I for one know I sure as hell didn’t deserve ALL that heartbreak, crying, nights of losing sleep, not being able to function over men I loved whom I wanted to marry but instead they ditched me and broke my heart. They complain when women don’t love them BUT when we do they act like monsters! It’s been nothing but a waste of my precious time and years. Plus most importantly, a huge permanent scar on my heart. Been taking anti-anxiety medication for this too. Why do good people need to experience such intense pain and negative outcomes, I will NEVER understand this. My ONLY hope for myself (and any woman struggling like this) is that I can eventually find enough personal peace and emotional fulfillment where I don’t slip up and allow ONE more human male human into my heart again, only to destroy it in tiny pieces a few years down the road. I moved to an area because I thought we were getting married. But the Lord showed me this guy's true colors. So I had a talk with him several weeks ago and told him that I was moving to another state. He claimed I wasn't going nowhere. My house is going on the market in 2 weeks. That’s how he’s been treating me the last several months and it just recently became much worse. I’ve already told him since 2 days ago it’s over - more than once - and clearly explained why, yet he doesn’t accept this as a breakup. He insists it’s not over… but he still pulls the same recent BS I told him he’d have to stop (I gave him an ultimatum). STILL this is Day 3 now so I’m going to try to be strong and not respond to him anymore if he texts me again. He got SO many chances and I went above and beyond for him.
