"Jubilee Line" was about how depressing the area he lived in was. The name "Your City Gave Me Asthma" can be taken literal since he actually had a cough for 2 years straight because of all the pollution in the area he lived. But he's fine now though, although he does have mild asthma to this day. To add on, Wilbur is actually inspired by crywank! He's a big fan of that band, and his old music style was pretty similar to it. Another fun fact, Wilbur actually isn't proud of "Your City Gave Me Asthma" since it was written and sung 2 years ago, and he thinks he definitely could've done better. He only released it onto spotify since he knew his fans loved the songs.

Wilbur separates his music from each other. So the music video ones (your new boyfriend, I'm in love with an egirl, etc.) he puts under his KZbin name, but he wants people to take Your City Gave Me Asthma more seriously and not associate it with KZbin because its less of jokes as like actual music from a real musician. You may have noticed on Spotify he has two accounts. Wilbur Soot with Your New Boyfriend, I'm in love with an egirl, etc., and Wilbur with the album on it. That's why you see more humor in those music videos and more emotion in the album.

Since moving there I managed to get this horrid phlegmy cough for 2 years straight, doctor’s confirmed it was pollution caused. Later on I started to exhibit signs of asthma. Unfortunately, I’ve not managed to escape yet but hopefully I shall sometime soon (hopefully somewhere more sunny).” “The song takes a rather dark turn at the end, after experiencing people take their lives on the London underground only to receive disgruntled groans by commuters who will now be late for whatever it is they’re going to, one becomes quite jaded to the human condition in general. Oh my gosh you have to react to his song La Jolla! It’s so underrated! The lyrics and guitar chord progressions are beautiful! I think you’d love it!

dude ur so sweet, and i feel like ur a genuine person. i just discovered ur channel yesterday from ur part 1 of reacting to wilbur, and i watched like 20 of ur other videos afterwards. just from watching a couple videos, i could instantly tell that ur a good person. and not a lot of men are this understanding and genuine, so thank you so much for being urself. it made me so happy when you were talking about standards towards women, and how society affects women and young girls. and when u talked about mental illness, that also made me happy. so thank youuuu sooo much for being a good person. (i subscribed to you as soon as i was done with pt 1 to wilbur soot heheh)

Can you react to "beetlebug"? I really like her music and i would love to see you react to her music :D And i know everyone already said this, but Wilbur said that these are older songs, and he's doing better now

I just found your channel and I really enjoy your style of reaction, you actually react. Most other ‘reaction’ channels just sit and watch and laugh once or twice while you pause and talk about the content. 10/10.

Yeah your city gave me asthma was written when he lived in london and was in a bit of a dark place. Saline solution is about how he has always suffered from believing he is always sick or something he is killing him but you should check outthe rest they are really good!

I'm a fan of his music and it's so incredibly cool to listen to someone talk about it in such an analytical way, picking it apart. I've never really picked up before on how Wilbur's music has the mountain goats vibes, no wonder I like it so much, it's my favorite band:0

He cuts out so many good parts of the songs, like the best bits from Your New Boyfriend, "I'm not gay though", "Maybe if he wasn't fine as hell", and "Jason Derulo". I wanna know how he reacted to those bits

I get very different reactions when listening to Wilbur’s Album and singles, while listening to “Your City Gave Me Asthma” I really pay attention to the instruments and rhythm. The sounds draw me in and gets into that “mood”. While listening to his singles such as “Your New Boyfriend”, I really pay attention to the words and how they really draw you in with how the music flows around them and how the words are silly enough that they don’t throw you off. The electric guitar is also so awesome in his new single, really gets me banging me head, yk? His songs really symbolize his life and how he feels, he’s very emotional and connected with his works and how he portrays them and I really think you hit the nail head on with your reactions. Wilbur really is talented

I love how he even has like a hidden story’s throughout these songs like people say that he has a story behind the songs when they are out together
