This video certainly touches a nerve. I struggle constantly to have Bible and prayer time. I long for dedication and discipline in this area. But I also know I wrongly rate my worth before God based on my spiritual success or failure.

When we find ourselves in seasons of lull, it helps to look to Christ and apply 1 Peter 4:8-11 daily (often). Are you evangelizing, serving your local church, basically, how are you applying the Bible you read to walk in humility? Not that work rescues us, but it helps to change us. God is immutable, we are not. Mutability is consistent with our human nature and good for the saint. We should see ourselves grow/mature in our habits. I did pray for you as well. Soli Deo Gloria

I like the premise but it could have been communicated a bit different. Never ever say GOD loves our sin, even when you qualify the statement. GOD will always forgive a repentant heart, but the consequences of that sin will affect you still. The sword never left king David's house, though his repentance is a model for those who would come afterwards.

In any spiritual discipline, the regular question that will keep you out of turning them into sacred cows/false religion is "Why am I doing this?" If God is our focus and goal, we will have a fruitful walk with our God.

Wow the story was almost the same as mine.. you know Before I sleep at night I always pray to God but then yesterday's night when I feel like I don't wanna pray I slept with my Grandma and I had this Horrible dream it's like .. someone was Telling me to Pray at my dreams Because I was under attack of the devi And so It takes me a minute to finally woke up and my dream was like a Nightmare I can't move when I wanted to , I can't Shout and Say I need to Pray with my Grandma ... But I'm so thankful that God helped me

Well, when one is saved and no longer placing confidence in themselves and their works, they indeed can spend time in the Word and with the LORD in a free way. It is no longer some bondage by which they do to earn and merit salvation.
