Fun fact about this game. The screen blacking out for a few seconds before you actually die was originally a bug but they left it in when the devs saw that it added a bit of tension to trying to surface for air at the last moment. Their intent before then was for death and blackout to happen at the same time.

You have said how sad you’d be if someone spoiled the game and robbed you of a real experience. That’s how I feel every time I see someone has streamed this wonderful game. Don’t misunderstand me, I really am enjoying your gameplay, it’s just that you would get SO much more out of the game if you were playing it alone and recording instead of streaming. I don’t just mean the spoilers from the chat or the intrusive jingles ruining it for everyone. It’s the entire atmosphere of the game. Probably it doesn’t seem like much but the whole experience is entirely different when you play it alone. The character is supposed to be a lone survivor in an alien world. Your immersion (no pun intended) is on a whole different level when you play it that way. It makes me sad that by streaming you have forever robbed yourself of the full experience the game offers. As I said, I’m enjoying your video and looking forward to watching the whole series, but I’m also a little sad. This game has, for me, the most engaging, immersive, astonishing, astounding and lots of other words like that (😂) experience I’ve had from any game I’ve played this century (I’m old). Go on and have great fun anyway. You will still love the game if this first episode is anything to judge from, and I’ll love watching 😊 Safe swimming and all other good wishes for you!

Fun fact. If you tell people not to spoil things in a new game you've never played. Then they can't help themselfe not to spoil it, even if so their own and their families lifes where on the line. They just get this owerwhelming urge to spoil as mutch as possible in as short amount of time they can. Even tell you EXACTLY how to play the game, whitout considering that the PLAYER might want to figure out stuff them selfe as it's a new game for them. I mean it's not like she said "Hold back on giving advices, untill I ask for them." You might have played the game to shreads, but she haven't. So what's so difficult to let experience the game at her own pace, and learn and figure out stuff on her own? So why not sit back and enjoy the ride, and ONLY give advices WHEN asked for it? And what's up with telling her about the stuff she's gonna find , make or see later on in the game? Imagine going to see a movie you realy wanted to see, just so that some random person walks up to you right outside the doors to the cinema, and tells you exactly what's gonna happen in the movie. Would bum you out and remove a lot from the experience right? IF you can't help yourselfe from spoiling s**t. Logg out from youtube and twitch. so you can't comment or chat. and you'll save the creators that feeling.

Glad someone got here first with this since I'm so late. This is one thing the game doesn't tell you about, but WILL save your life. Especially if you ever decide to follow the PDA's very first instructions and check out the survival guide. (Nobody ever does. :) ) Also glad to see the trend of grabbing every acid mushroom you see right off the bat continues unbroken. lmao We've all done it. There's lots of other helpful little tips that either took me several playthroughs to figure out, or in some cases required someone to tell me. I won't mention any of them though since we all discover different things at different times, and those little moments of discovery make you feel smart as hell. Or not, if like me you'd been playing for TWO YEARS before finally figuring out something obvious. I won't say what, not just to avoid spoilers, but because it makes me look dumb as hell. Anyway, hope you continue to enjoy your playthrough, I'm certainly going to enjoy catching up on it. Thanks for the video. @@MonEvenStar

In this past November a friend gifted me a Quest 2 VR headset and a few days ago I installed the "Submersive VR" mod for the game and started playing again. I wasn't sure how far I'd get but it's been such a fresh and immersive experience that I'm already deep into the game again. Hello Mon. No spoilers from me. I came across your channel from watching a few of your Pacific Drive play throughs. Although they are a bit lengthy, I like that you really explore as much of the game as you can. I hope you do the same with Subnautica. I came across this game when I was bored and had it sitting in my library. I finally decided to play it one day and now I’m on my 7th play through of it. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but you don’t have to get so much of the creep vine materials at one time since it’s always there. You can also drop things like that to free up storage. Well enjoy this game and I do hope that no one spoils it for you.

I've never played this game, I've only ever watched people play it. The first time I watched someone play was when it was a blind playthrough so even they didn't know but it was still easy to figure things out. All I can say is I know you steamed it but take a few extra seconds to actually read the items that you can craft, what you need etc. The water locker for example is quite literally called a "waterproof locker" which should be an indication of where it needs to go and it's description is "maintains position in water" which is also another hint. I haven't watched fully through this video yet so far now I will say, stop eating raw fish... It's raw lol you're not gollum from lord of the rings 🤣 Also it says on the fish "-h2o" which means you lose hydration every time you eat the raw fish, you should never consume anything that gives negative anything lol unless you have something to counter it. Storage also isn't too difficult early as your first priority is getting only the resources needed for starting items, then focus on making storage for extra resources.

Was excited to see another Subnautica playthrough and was a bit disappointed to find the soundtrack turned off. The music, aside from being brilliant in its own right, adds to the experience so much... also hoped for a facecam to watch the visceral expressions of discovery. I'll continue the series for now as, aside from the two mentioned points, it's an enjoyable experience thus far.
@MonEvenStarАй бұрын

@FailtasmagoriaАй бұрын
@MonEvenStar understandable. The Devs pretty much survived off of streamers and youtubers during open development (they're gonna do the same open dev with S2) so they never struck anyone with claims. Plus they were smaller and indy back then, they couldn't afford to make anyone sour on their work ;) Understand the facecam choice on your part. It's just one of the more enjoyable parts of Subnautica streams - watching expressions react to events. You have a Below Zero playthrough and planning on playing early dev S2?
