There is one particular line that always gets me “never in the field of human conflict, was so much owed, by so many, to so few”. That could not be more true, think how different the world would be now if it wasn’t for all those young men who went and fought on the frontline and gave their lives. They did that for us, and we should always remember them and have a huge amount of respect for them. Also all the people who were left behind in this country to make up for the lost workforce who had all joined the army. This country wouldn’t be what it is today if it wasn’t for them. Thank you to every single person who was involved in the war effort. You won’t be forgotten.
