Dennis Hamel - That's fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing your success! The game is thrilled to have you back!!! Tom PS: After you've had enough fun beating up on those younger guys, please send them my way! We need to level the playing field eventually, although you've got a great head start on them....

Does this hands forward method works with 3 and 5 woods

Tom, are you left eye dominant? I saw you were "trying something new" and it looked like a Jack Nicklaus head tilt haha
@SagutoGolf3 жыл бұрын
Actually, Jay, this is a bit of a residual nuance that I am gradually trying to eliminate by further refining the correct mix and sequence of tilting, turning, and extending. However, at this juncture I don't consider it to be a critical fix as I am generally satisfied with the results of my swing and am not presently seeking to go out on the Tour. So yes - ideally and ultimately we want to maintain a steady head in this swing. Realistically, there are tolerances for a little bit of movement as we progress in the journey.

@@SagutoGolf Thanks for the reply! I was reading that most of the pros are right-handed but left-eye dominant, which is statistically rare in the normal population (18%).. but accounts for around 90% of the pros, e.g. Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. To start his backswing, Nicklaus would tilt his head to put his left eye on the ball, as you do. Anyways, it's an interesting topic to me. Love your videos- thank you for simplifying the game. You are a great teacher.

For four minutes you describe the bad things about topping a shot. Then in the last thirty seconds you said if you have your hands forward at impact you will never top a shot. Then you topped your first shot.
