Seeing how I packed everything on camera, makes me think I went a bit overboard with the plastic bags. :'P Gld everything arrived safely though. The Blow Off Valve is a knock off Greddy unit that came with my 2G Intercooler Kit. Some people have had good luck with them, but your mileage may vary. Honestly if you still have the stock BOV, it might be better to use that instead, if it's still serviceable. I threw it in there because I figured you could use it if needed and it makes nice garage arttoo. I believe you can run a Greddy flanged BOV on a stock DSM Flange, if you drill some holes in the stock flange to match the holes in the Greddy BOV. The bolts and spacer plate in the bag is from a kit Forced Performance used to sell, which was specifically for the Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel. The bolts are slightly longer than the normal flywheel bolts and the spacer plate helps distribute the load more evenly across the face of the flywheel. Or at least, that's what I was told. There should also be a new Friction Surface Kit for the flywheel in the box as well. The friction surface on the flywheel now was definitely rode hard and put away wet. It came off of a friend's 6 Bolt Swapped 10 Sec GSX, I believe. So, it's seen things.

the dsm and rx-7 community are the best car guys out there. ive had alot of cars.. dsm is all time.. had a dude come out and not only bring but help me replace my center diff when it blew on the highway on a road trip.. fricking awesome dudes all over and we pass the love on.

Not sure if you’re still working on this thing but I would recommend removing all the emission solenoids/charcoal canister/emission vacuum lines. The intake support bracket that the vacuum lines run through can be left as is , unconnected. I removed them on all 5 of my 1g’s. Would also recommend investing in a decent closed sealed pcv valve/ oil catch can setup. Pros: less places to have vacuum/boost leaks; cleaner engine bay; less components that may have gone bad already anyway. Idle will be smoother Cons: you have to block all those vacuum lines on the throttle body. May have to adjust idle as it may be slightly higher than factory.

When I was 16 years old I had a 91 eagle talon and that was a fun car. I have also built a 98 eclipse turbo AWD and it was a very fast car. You will love the car when your done. You probably dont remember me but I was that guy at that car show in Alexandria 2years ago with the red 2014 Sentra on 19" wheels

Transmission rebuilds arent bad on these. Just be patient, take your time and label everything. Pictures pictures pictures

Hey. I give u credit for bringing the 1G back. There are barely any on the road. Mine is a laser awd rs turbo. I would eliminate those balance shafts. I'm sure u know why and there is a kit that comes with a bearing for the additional oil pressure in the block. Its rather simple to do but both of the shafts have to come out.

I'd rebuild the trans if you can get someone experienced with that to assist or at the very least have really good car-specific instructions. Sometimes they are hard... or things you can miss that can make it not work properly or feel like a marshmallow. I love lightweight flywheels. they almost look good enough to frame. yet you never see them xD

Neil Bullock right on man I'll give her that information. . Lol I just had to buy this month a Mitsubishi fwd hub cause us fwd guys can't just a whole hub assembled with a bearing. . Like you awd guys .. it was painful lol
