I lost 20 pounds, started feeling more energetic (tiredness gone), and noticed certain discomforts (health problems) disappearing. All I did was follow a miracle diet plan. It's called watching what I eat and exercising regularly.

I know from experience that in order for your organs to detox your body sufficiently, you need to have good nutrition including adequate daily water intake along with fruits and vegetables. Taking certain medications can complicate things. I don't entirely agree with people when they say that just because you have a liver and kidneys your body will adequately detoxify; you need to treat your body right so that it is better able to clean itself.
@madaraisbetteethannarutohe8136

Yes! You need to support the liver and kidneys with proper nutrition so they can do their job. I hate how detox companies basically convince people eating fruits, vegetables, or high nutrition is useless when they promise results they can’t deliver. Good nutrition is awesome! The sad thing is that there's so much information out there. If people did their own research they would see that junk food alters brain chemistry, and that if they ate foods with nutrients (vegetables and protein) they would be able to fix a lot of their body issues. Limiting sugar, increasing nutrient intake and moving your body is the best way to get healthy.

Wow. This diet is pretty much exactly what I had to do when I had double-relocation jaw surgery. For 2-3 months absolutely no chewing is allowed and all food must be blended. So even though I ate ice cream shakes for almost a week straight I still lost weight so fast my doctor was worried and told me to put protein in all my shakes. I couldn't drink smoothies for a year after that. Awful. These types of "diets" are so scary to me. How can anyone think its healthy to basically not eat?!
@IAmPlaysWithSquirrel
@IAmPlaysWithSquirrel 3 жыл бұрын
I have a terrible canker sore on my gum right now and I’m also relegated to smoothies for the time being because it literally hurts too much to chew. I miss eating real food so much, my low pain tolerance is why I’m not saying “fuck it” and making myself a proper meal to eat. I’m constantly thinking about food. I don’t know how anyone could restrict themselves like this when it’s not medically necessary. Also, it’s not at all healthy to lose so much weight in such a short period of time (unless you’re extremely obese). If you’re literally losing 1lb a day, go to the ER right away because something is horribly wrong with you. We really need to stop promoting rapid weight loss as something healthy to aspire to. It’s not good nor realistic, and it’s why people give up so soon on their weight loss journeys.

This is horrifying. I used to be an RN (technically still have my license) before chronic illness made me unable to work 1 year and a half ago. It burns me up that a nurse who has the responsibility to see to the health of her patients and who has the trust of so many makes a mockery of our profession and causes harm to others with unfounded claims. Evidence-based practice gets hammered into your head in nursing school. There are no excuses. And to take advantage of those who are looking at death from or a life with chronic illness… that is beyond sick. I do wonder what her actual license is. When I worked in nursing homes myself or when my hospital patients had family members who worked in health care, people with a CNA license would be referred to as a “nurse”. I would almost rather believe that this nurse is someone who went through a nursing assistant program (which is not nearly as in depth… I was a CNA before my RN) and is mislabeling herself and thinks she knows more than she does. It is more disturbing to think that she is someone who went through an actual nursing program and has all the training to know that this is unsafe bull. Sorry for the rant. I find it so painful that a nurse would be this irresponsible and betray those who trust our profession so much… especially targeting such a vulnerable population.

I seen a lot of quack diets when I was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis at 18. My mom read every book and tried every diet that claimed to "cure" MS. MS has only really been studied in the last 25 years and many medications have bad side effects and low success rates (30-40% on first line drugs). The second line drugs also had horrible side effects and/ or high price tags (60-100K per dose). My mom even made me go to a seminar about how one person put her MS in remission through strict diet and electrotherapy alone, without prescribed medication. I was the youngest person at the seminar and most of the people there were disabled from their MS and in wheelchairs. Vulnerable people that were clinging onto any chance at getting an independent life back from their debilitating disease. At the end, I did loose some weight from the diets but my MS remained the same. Even with being on multiple medications from my neurologist, my MRI's remained bad with multiple new lesions. My MS only got under control when I took part in a trial medication, where I went from 9-14 new and active lesions on my MRI's every 6 months to 0. Since I've been on the trial study it has been approved by healthcare but still has a high price tag for anyone without good insurance (120K for 2 doses a year). While taking care of you physical and mental health is important and does help your body when dealing with chronic illness and disease, it is not a cure. Good health and healthy habits are a helping component alongside proper medications that have been clinically tested and studied.

I hope more people see this video. Not only is the quality and effort of your videos outstanding, but the fact that this could potentially help save people from being scammed or becoming even more hopeless/ill (depending on what they’re dealing with and why they might put their eggs in this Dr Roni basket) is so important. Your work is so valuable. You’re a gift to KZbin and the health community 💜

An Instagram influencer i follow (bc I like her music) markets a detox diet she created, also where all your food is either juiced or puréed(no chewing). I genuinely think she believes that it works, and I’ve even considered trying it. But I’m glad I found this video and your channel. I appreciate your logical and open minded attitude on topics like this. Looking forward to watching more of your videos, and losing weight in a healthy and sustainable way!
