The problem is that if you have an interest in someone and they ignore you, you distance yourself and focus on yourself. But the issue comes when you realise that when u finally let go these people comes back showing full interest unfortunately you can never like them as before. Its done and dusted. If I meet someone and they pretend not to feel anything for me but will only show interest after not chasing them I'll be completely done

I think there's a happy medium. I actually heard recently that a man's testosterone will drop and his estrogen levels will increase the more he spends time with a woman so testosterone is the sex drive. I'm happy to give my man space if that makes him happy. We still communicate every day and we see each other two or three times a week. Thats good for me.

This is what I teach my clients, “The only thing we can control is our thoughts, our emotions, our passions (anger/frustration), and our own stability.” Let go. Allow. SURRENDER. Do not attempt to control any outcomes. You do you! Do not chase, attract. In the animal world, it’s ALWAYS the male who is peacocking for the female. We’ve got to come back into that balance. It’s, literally, the female that chooses, but we’ve become so codependent on having to “have a man!” (or woman!) the attractant has lost her essence. She has given away her power to men that will use her abuse her and take advantage of her. Also, no male in the animal or human kingdom desires a woman who is a stalking, chasing, brow beating, complaining, screeching banshee. You get more flies with honey, honey. Just don’t take no shit, from anyone. The Empress calmly stands her ground and chooses HERSELF over any nonsense from a toxic masculine, (male or female) All angels are warriors. Just remember, taking your power back means coming into balance, and that has nothing to do with emasculation.

I have always wondered why there is so much advice for women. Woman should do this, shouldn't do that. While a man has the right to come into my life and spend several years dating me, so that in the end he understands that I am not his person. Perhaps it is important to remind men that if after a few months of meetings, you finally understand that you don't want a relationship with this woman, you just leave. Easy. Or if you're determined to play games with another living being, you just don't come near to me.

Something similar happened to me. I had a 5 year relationship with a guy only to be told when we broke up that he began to have doubts about me in the first couple of months. I was furious. I moved to another country to be with him and he led me on for years because he didn't want to be alone. There were red flags though, but I was too 'in love' to see them for what they were and respond appropriately...

Men say you don't show an interest if you wait for their initiative, but when you try to be consistent with them, or just show you are also interested, it's also bad for them. I think the right woman can do no wrong in a man's eye, and they will chase gladly! It's only a woman they aren't into to chop through the loops. But why do men approach women they aren't interested in the first place? They shouldn't be wasting their time if there's literally nothing a woman can do to "get" them.

I’m in a weird spot. I haven’t been chasing the man I’ve been seeing, but I recently had to cancel a date because a friend of mine died and I was too upset to have a good night out. Since then he has been more distant. I’m torn between wanting to outwardly express that I’m ready to see him again and not wanting to chase him. Is he distant because he’s being respectful, or does he think I’ll be “trouble”? Obviously, nobody here can answer that, but those are my thoughts. If he’s being respectful, I can work with that. But now that I’m writing it out, if he can’t give me a few days to grieve on my own (I haven’t asked him to help me through it, I explicitly told him it wasn’t his burden) then maybe he’s not a long-term kind of guy.

What you are talking about is a kind of ideal world, the only big problem is that a lot of women and some men, just dont have any sexual drive if there is no chemistry and just cant fall in love with someone just because it's a good person. Of course if you feel that you like a lot to be around that person there is already a lot of affective and mind chemistry (lets call it like that) and it can evolve in a very important friendship OR a lover. But if you just think that this person has all the qualities you need and you feel respect of his persona but dont have any chemistry or any attraction even after you tried to get to know them ofc you cannot begin a relationship.

This is off topic but Brian I think I know how to say your real name. I’ve watched so many videos of yours! How do you spell it?

most of my crushes end quickly because I get to now their real character. bu then there are people that I don't constantly see, like some guy who I see at the course once a week who I don't even know the name of. at first I like him just by his looks or vibe, but then I create a perfect ideal bf character to him in my head, so that crush grows bigger in me even tho the guy might be an ahole. if I was good at meeting new people confidently I would just go meet the guy and most of the time my feelings would probably be gone the minute he starts to talk

Am I right that this applies especially to shy guys who act like a very cautious bird for example? Do you have some advice for approaching a very, very shy, cautious and restrained INFJ man? I myself am an INFJ and I'd like to be able to prove him that I really mean the fact that I appreciate his personality and behavior in general. There have been some really strange happenings recently that made me feel that he is observing and analyzing me, but also may not trust me yet. One time a week I compliment him or make a joke, but his reactions are very tentative. This situation lasts for six months now. Thanks for all the videos and great advice in general. What would I do without them? Completely freak out, I suppose. xD

Do not focus on him too much. This is what Brian is saying, why do you want to approach a man. If the man really likes you, it will be him worrying about proving himself to you not the other way round

Even a shy guy will approach a woman he's interested in. If he sees that you are interested, it will be enough encouragement for him to move forward. You have done till much, just fall back so that he doesn't look at you as desperate.

Stop trying to prove yourself to him. It's a big turn off and they sense you are doing it. Back off and stop complimenting and trying to talk and joke with him and let it be what it is or is not. You may not realize it but you are chasing after him.

2 INFJ together? Hmmm that's sound interesting... I'm INFP. I don't see myself with another INFP.

Yes. I'm shy and reserved with a shy and reserved man. On occasion you may express more, but this all applies. Shy men will step up too. Same rules apply. If he isn't, he may just not be the right fit. If you feel relaxed, it fits. If he makes you anxious and constantly worrying? Not a fit. If used to drama/trauma and he makes you feel bored? Might just be the right fit. Weirdly so. If we're used to chasing, the good guys we need tend to kinda feel boring. Back away and focus less on pursuing him, getting him to open up, and allow him space to show you his feelings and effort, and you'll find out his feelings. Let him pursue more. His actions and words will tell you everything.
