Right! I am actually impressed with it as well. I forget I take the key out of the bike sometimes and move it around and I get a call 30 seconds later lol

I just got one and mine only lets me go to update once a day in the settings. Is there a way to do it more often?

I’m not sure what you mean my friend? The GPS only updates once per day?

@@ShakeNBlake509 yes so it sends me an update every day at noon with an updated gps marker of where the bike was last located. No real time tracking unless the bike is stolen from what I understand. But it does not update every 5 minds for me unless it does it in the background

@@RoldyLoxx oh I see. Ya mine does the same and I’m fine with it. As long as the bike doesn’t move, the tracker goes into sleep mode to save battery. I’m not sure about updating more often than that.

@@RoldyLoxx switch your mobiles bluetooth on. This then opens up the 'settings' in the monimoto app. If you update it to the latest firmware, you can select updates as frequently as every 1 minute. Otherwise, the most frequent is every 5 mins. It warns you that this uses a lot of battery, but I put a couple of new budget alkaline cheap and nasty batteries in it and tested the tracking every minute when my son went for a 4 hour drive in his car whilst I stayed at home with the fob. The battery still showed in the app as fully charged at the end.

I had a cbr600 stolen years ago, it had 2 disc locks on front and rear, and also chained to a metal fence, and alarm fitted. the thieves still took it from my place of work. they kept the bike for 2 months before using it in an armed robbery. A tracker would of really helped. its shit that we have to go to such lengths to protect our bikes.
