One of the cleverest designs on extremely challenging tight geometric space, I don't know how he did it but amazing !!! The tricks are very appealing to make it feel spacious, and yes because we had to get a living room, I get that we lost a bedroom! The toilet could be turned into study or storage, & laundry could convert that into the toilet, but plumbing may not have allowed that !!! Very well done ❤

The decor and design are stunning, but the lay out is quite unconvenient. The less I would do is switching the laundry and WC. Makes much more sense having WC in the bathroom and access from the living room, and laundry in the kitchen. If you're in the bedroom, you have to go to the living room, then to the kitchen and then to the toilet 😅 Weird... I'd also switch the kitchen/dining and the bedroom, I'd prefer to have a kitchen, dining and living room altogether, and then a door to enter the bedroom from the living room and another door to enter the bathroom from the living room as well, but that's up to taste. For me, such a lay out makes much more sense. (In that case I'd move the laundry space, probably to the place where the living room storage is currently located). Anyway, beautiful design! Cheers!

I love all of the natural light in this apartment. The mirrors make the space look bigger and reflect light. I also love what they have done to the bathroom. (The tiles are marvelous.) Overall, the place is quite functional despite being so small. The idea of painting the ceiling is very cool too. The place looks more staged than lived in, but I get that it is only used when the owners are in town. It gives more of an Airbnb vibe, but that's just how it goes, I guess. All of the white walls make it a bit bland but reflect the light well. I would create/paint an accent wall to add more color, contrast, and warmth to the place. The designer should be very proud of his work.

To me, the layout is somewhat awkward. IDK if it was dictated by the housing rules or maybe the window view. I would swap the living room and the bedroom in this apartment: that way the owner would have a private zone and access to the bathroom/laundry from the bedroom. The living room would be connected to the kitchen. And the wardrobe can be placed right next to the toilet entrance, so it is separated from the common space and the kitchen stays sanitary. Also, that way there is no need to pass the entire living room to get to the bedroom

Really nicely done, and if I ever win Euromillions and can afford a pied-a-terre in Paris I will definitely be looking up this design as he did a great job in satisfying his client's brief. For Parisien apartments the kitchen is relatively huge: if it was my apartment I'd have sacrificed kitchen space for additional lounge space, and wouldn't have chosen a dark wood in such a small space (nor would I want a handbasin-less toilet next to it!)
@stephaniec.1950Күн бұрын
I love how these small spaces almost always have washer dryer in the tiny apartments. In NYC most apartment buildings (older coops and condos) were built and maintained with no options for washer dryer. Instead washers and dryers are in a large common area and require you to pay as if it is a laundromat.

I love the dark wood and soft white, and the “window” between the kitchen and bedroom looks great and adds nice light to the kitchen. While I understand the point of the mirrors, personally I’d take them out. I find them distracting. Is the draft from the door so bad that you really need a frumpy curtain to cover it. Just looks silly to me. But those two things are minor - the layout, colours, and furnishings are great!
