A lack of design imagination and technical skill should not be confused with minimalism. this is besides the fact that 60 sqm has nothing to do with small living .

Looks amazing, I think they could use a project though instead of a tv behind glass. And in the future if they need more space, they can extend the balcony by half to get more rooms for the kids

LOL!!! "Never Too Small." My wife and I live in a 67 m² apartment in Jessheim, about 50 kilometers from Oslo. The apartment has two bedrooms, a large bathroom, a storage room, a hallway, a spacious living room, and a separate "U-shaped" kitchen tucked away from the main area. I’ve drawn up the renovation plans myself (I’m a civil engineer), and the renovation is set to begin in the spring. Once finished, the apartment will have three bedrooms. But not the tiny 2x2m "bedrooms" you often see-these will be proper, spacious rooms for sleeping and kids' activities. We won’t lose any space in the living room, and the kitchen will only be shortened by about 40 cm, keeping its "U-shape" and allowing for a 150 cm diameter circle to fit comfortably inside. The master bedroom will be reduced by 40 cm, making its dimensions 2.8 m x 3.8 m. The other two bedrooms will be 2.4 m x 3.2 m each. The current indoor storage room will be converted into a bathroom, reduced to 2 m x 1.6 m. Since all the walls here are made of wooden constructions, I’ll set up my workspace in the hallway. It will include a foldable desk that can be hidden inside the wall, along with the monitors. 60 m² is FAR from being a small space-at least from the perspective of someone who’s 190 cm tall and weighs 120 kg. Anything under 30, maybe 35 m², could be considered a small space. Don’t get me wrong, the apartment is beautiful, and they did a great job, but I think the video was posted on the wrong channel. "Never Too Small."

Nicely designed, but I agree that this is not small. My partner and our two cats lived in a 27sqm apartment in the same part of Oslo.

Saying Hi from Poland's Great Lakes District! We've built our dining table on the same IKEA trestles and we also live in a 60 m2 space but it's a tiny home, not an apartment :)

I have some questions regarding the decision to have wooden floors in the kitchen. It's pretty, but looks difficult to clean in case of spillage and the likes. All in all, I like how this showcases the use of some very cheap, basic and materials and very simple concepts to create something lovely. I love the use of replicas and ikea products, clever use of [mass produced] posters, curtains for hiding things, and other no-fuss ideas.

Absolutely stunning! Warm, calm and pleasant to the eyes. And that's not including the apartment lol. Seriously this place hits all the checks for a single person. Too bad the view is of a parking lot though.

It’s too cluttered and chaotic. Not well organized. Plus the toilet room shouldn’t be so close to the kitchen and dining area.

I used to like smaller houses more but now i see it too much through a class lense and feel this is bs. are you telling me that the final stage of our civilization is living in smaller and more expensive holes while the top 1% live in excess of space? the man in the video seems 6 ft 4 or something and living in a tuny apartment where he has to turn sideways to go down the toy like "stairs" that go up to his not-really-a-room, tiny and poorly ventilated, which is seen on the video, doesnt seem like good either ergonomically, for safety, or wellbeing. whoever is he renting from, where does the owner and rentist class live? they dont live in shoeboxes like these do they? it feels like the romantization of an ever lowering standard of living

No upper kitchen cabinets is a bold move and looks nice. For some generations now people have been overfurnishing their kitchen with cabinets. An open shelf is more traditional and practical.

9:36 Washing machine in the bedroom .. is a new one 😀 Because it isnt odd to have a washingmachine in the bedroom. Well except from animals who lives to live in the drain, the idear of using the bedroom in the bedtime while you are not sleeping somehow seems innovative.
