Also dont forget that we are watching zlewikk, who is one of the best players, so him being that poweful isnt rly suprising. like lamba did a world conquest in 1470smth with a horde, yet nobody screams TOO OP. Why? u ask, bc the ai is stupid and it will be the same thing here. (the player can also block ottomans by taking constantinople) to your question hgow often do the ottomans go bankrupt etc. its everytime i play, but i also have 2,5k hours, so more than enough to understand how the game works (not counting trade)

The new changes to the Ottomans look really nice, especially since they've been kind of neglected mission wise for a while now. It should definitely add a lot more flavor to a playthrough, and it much better mirrors their rapid expansion in the 15th-16th centuries. Hopefully the mechanics in the late game make maintaining the empire a challenge though, if so we should see a much more realistic Ottomans than what we have right now.

I'm really happy with especially mamluk event, I. Selim (Yavuz Sultan Selim) did conquer mamluk in 8 years. We have a saying in Turkish that "He did a 80 years job at 8 years." which what he did. And also Janissary's was create a very big problems in mid eras. II. Siege of Vienna is the first event that we said "Ok Janisarrys getting shitty" and they overthrow many padisah (Don't look at II. I'm playing as ethiopia and had a tough time dealing with giga-mamluks early on. After a major struggle, i finally overcame them, only to realize that they were the only reason ottoman expansion was held in check. They quickly declared on the mamluks, just as i had spent all my resources to narrowly destroy the mamluk army, and took an enormous chunk out of the mamluks basically for free. Before long, i had a border with a nation that had 3x my army size, in peacetime... 20 years later, the ottoman army doubled in size, from 150k, to 300k, as they had taken half of russia, 80% of poland-lithuania, and were just about to smite qara qoyunlu out of existence... Sooo... now i have to figure out a way to take antioch from an ottoblob that could probably fight the entirety of the HRE single-handedly. Oh, and did i mention they're allied to france, and bohemia? So, another 150k troops there, give or take.

Piety rework is also nice to see. It is still biased towards legalism imo, but the idea cost makes Mysticism less of an "int-ing" decision. You would need to seriously either nerf Legalism or buff Mysticism more to make them a harder decision. That being said, Mysticism losing the Fort Defense buff for a smaller idea cost buff is not ideal lol. If it had kept the fort defense and gotten the idea cost reduction *in addition*, then I could see that being a more balanced choice relative to Legalism's Tech cost and +20 Manpower/Tax.

Just looking at the privileges you can give show how OP ottomans are. I think it's for the best ! But i really hope that during mid to late game (for Ottomans, but if possible later for France, Russia, UK and Spain) the implementation of a latent crisis will make the game still flavorful when playing a great power. The game can remain fun all along if we have to face threats constantly, even playing a gigantic empire.

with all the rework to prussia from this dlc and the ones before, they need to make it so that the AI always forms prussia, its kind of lame that one of the biggest powers doesnt get formed unless the player does it. they could make it so that when Poland attacks the Teutonic order they get an event which releases ducal prussia as an independent state and then later there will be an event which makes brandenburg inherit them, and make it 100% chance that Brandenburg turns protestant. it will be fair since poland is already super powerful and the war that they get on the tuetonic order from the danzig event is basically free land with no AE. Zlewikk back me up on this, maybe we can get Paradox to notice.

they also added tons of disasters and nerfs like decadence, you might actually see dying ai Ottomans more often :)
