I absolutely adore white cabinets, but I'm always so nervous abt going for it bc of resale value. I know it's not something a lot of people would choose, but it definitely makes a home look bigger & brighter. I've always been the type of person who loved colored walls, but now I have (off)white walls & I love them. I've always wanted a white sofa as well, so I recently took the plunge & bought one. I'm just thrilled w it! It's really amazing the different ways to bring color in your home w/o all the dark cabinets & furniture. Not to mention how easy it is to switch out your themes. Just finished painting all our cabinets (same as yours) white. Love, love love. My husband did not want to do this until he saw what a difference it made in a neighbor's house. Now, he loves the brighter look. Next, I'm trying to convince him that we should paint our backsplash which is a similar style to yours. (Houses must have been built about the same time!) Your voice is so soothing.

Your kitchen is beautiful and welcoming, we decided on a white wipe down finish kitchen a few yrs ago with grey walls, before it became the popular colour it is now😄 our pop of colour is the glossy red brick style tiles between the top and bottom units. I still love it almost 8yrs later it stays nice and clean, however our kitchen would fit into yours probably 3times😄. Only in the past few yrs have UK builders been building larger houses.
