Could easily put a removable height extending pedistal swivel seat where the seat is currently instead. Raise and lower seat as required. Seriously nice set up. Well done. Great video 👍 well impressed.

How is your Kayak going to drain with the plywood installed?

Thanks for the video. I just bought one and the ideas and info will help!

This is a nice boat, but a plywood floor doesn’t seem necessary and adds a good bit of weight. Have you found it to be something that is needed or you just trying to dress her for the prom?

The 1/8” play wood is very light and has been great. It definitely does not need one. But has added a lot of stability. Only improvement is make it to put holes in the plywood where the scupper plugs are. But I’ve never had any issues.

That deck will probably make your movements much quieter so you don’t spook the fish.

Now that you have had it a while. Is not having a trailer for a heavy yak fine? I’ve got an ascend . 12t that I have wheels on and fully loaded gets heavy, I couldn’t imagine dragging yours very far with wheels.

I haven’t fished anywhere that I really had to move the kayak a long distance. I typically use a boat launch or just back up to the water. I take my batteries out before losing it back in as well.

Very nice layout. If you get a chance can you provide a link to the accessories you added? Looks great

I just added all the links to the description, thank you! If you need additional links, feel free to just ask again

where is the transducer and how did you mount it
@shanegarnetti37554 жыл бұрын
Titanium Hearts Loft There is a designated mounting spot for the transducer under the bow of the boat. Really sweet feature I should have mentioned.

Does it leak water or is it separate from the hual.
@shanegarnetti37554 жыл бұрын
Justin Gajewski no leaks. The transducer cord goes through a scupper plug hole
@justingajewski30224 жыл бұрын
What about where it mounts?
@danielmcnish65554 жыл бұрын
You gonna do water stability test. Looks super stable.
@shanegarnetti37554 жыл бұрын
I took it out a couple days ago in windy conditions and it handled incredibly well. The removable deck made the yak really stable and solid to stand on. My camera battery died but I will do another test and video of it in the water soon.

An outboard can be added or a power pole

I'm confused. Did you MAKE the deck or buy it? I really like that and am buying one of these kayaks.
@shanegarnetti37553 жыл бұрын
I made the deck. Out of some 1/8” play wood and speaker box carpet
@justingajewski30224 жыл бұрын
Can you send me a picture of your transducer? I'm rigging my 133x and I want to make sure I'm mounting properly.

Nice video! Do you plan to motor and not paddle this kayak?
@shanegarnetti37553 жыл бұрын
I do have paddles on board but only use them in extreme shallow water. I ended up cutting my trolling motor shaft down a lot which increased my speed and gave me better visibility also.

WD-40 and a flat razor to remove decal remnants. Good vid.

All that shit in your garage and you don’t have a razor blade to get a sticker off? Dig the yak tho.
