I have this same radio in my 2012 Chevy Cruze for some years now it “works” ok at times but it has a mind of its own because the radio will just reset itself some reason it changed itself to china time I can’t reset the clock or use my gps anymore so now I only use it for my Bluetooth on my music I had it installed my 2-3yrs ago I miss using my gps 😢

I have the same system that does not receive GPS and also an audio problem that is not heard in the microphone, they said that it lacks an internal microphone that makes sense ?? I think the guy who installed destroyed there an irrational part that with all the other people the gps and audio are excellent

You CAN play music from your phone :) I also have the 2012. You've got to open up your armrest and connect your phone to the AUX Headphone Port, or, the USB port. Using the USB port will allow you to see Track information, and use the Play/Pause/Next/etc. controls, both on the steering wheel and actual radio. ** I am curious to know if the Armrest Audio Inputs still work with this aftermarket radio. Thanks for the videos on this radio, I'm going to get one too!

Yes that is correct but not wirelessly and yes the USB port in the armrest works to charge but no longer connects to the radio

Yeah I can it’s pretty much straight forward you tap in to the reverse lights so that when your in reverse power from the reverse light power the camera and the other powers back to the radio to activate the camera display and black wire is negative you can also tap into the reverse light.

You wired it wrong maybe! You have to tap into the reverse light + wire and run it back to the radio to trigger the reverse camera to display on the screen. I was stuck on the same issue it was my first time wiring reverse camera

i have a question which was asked. but collectively it wasn't. how did you get your back up camera to work? and which wires did you use on the deck to connect. the red wire to? the harness really doesn't explain which color is the wire? pretty much just connect the back up camera and the unexplained red wire and just put it in reverse and the back up camera will displace right / thank brother if you can answer this soon as possible becuz its driving me crazy!!

No you have to send power to the backup wire that’s on the back of the radio and says backup camera. What I did was I tapped in the the reverse light and sent that positive to the camera and back to the radio backup camera wire. And the black negative that’s on the camera I got from the reverse light also. Hope that helped I was stuck for a minute also till I figured it out!

So when you put car in reverse it powers the camera and powers the backup cam wire that’s on the radio that switches on the camera display it needs power! This is where mostly everyone gets stuck because they don’t realize that you have to sent power to that backup camera wire.

There is a Tesla-like system for my Chevrolet Cruze I didn't use the car for a day and a half and I tried to activate the system, it didn't work. The Android system crashes and I don't have a restart button outside. It may be that the system needs to be disassembled and it is inside.

Yeah it's the same,my canbus doesn't have chevrolet cruze Gen 1 (2008-2011) as a choice to synchronized with steering wheel buttons or ac functions so I've tried to synchronize with other Chevy models like aveo (2008-2012) and it worked.My sw buttons and ac functions are working perfectly.

What do you need help with? It’s pretty easy you basically tap into the reverse lights negative and positive when the radio detects the power it activates the camera display on the unit.

No sound comes thru the bluetooth for some reason but the radio plays fine

You have to tap on Bluetooth phone I had the same issue till I figured it out

You need to tap in to the reverse light positive wire and send it back to the radio backup camera line so it could trigger the display to show the camera
