It's great that that you are getting new buses all the time. When I was a driver, the newest buses we had were S Reg Darts, and they were on loan! We had stuff ranging from 1965 RM's to 1984 M's. Another great video from the new bus Guru.

Hey, great news! Today I passed my PCV driving test 1st time with 3 minors. Chuffed to bits. Next week I'm doing bus plus which will be customer service scenarios and ticket machine learning. This evening is honey JD time to unwind. That's another and possibly the highest hurdle or tightest hoop I have to jump through. My uniform hasn't arrived yet though 😑

Yesterday I done my first day with paying passengers with a mentor. I was driving a citaro. Very manouverable they are, nice to drive. It was a 10hr shift and I swapped with my mentor a couple of times so we shared the driving. It's bloody exhausting which no one realises until they do the job. It was still an enjoyable day though.

That smell is the smell of brand new seat covers and possibly new flooring too. I still remember when the Volvo B10M in Singapore just have their seat covers refurbished 6-10 years ago, they gave a similar smell to a brand new bus too.

In Great Yarmouth we have Enviro 400 63 plates on the X1 route to Norwich, very comfortable to ride. We still also have a couple of W reg ALX400s which are too old now.

Here in Leeds, First have eighteen 14 plate E400s at one depot and eighteen 16 plate MMCs. Arriva have a fair amount of Enviro 400s. They have 58 plates, 15 plates and 17 plate MMCs aswell as a lot of E200s which are 09 plate and 14 plate

Nice I rode on a 18 reg e400 mmc earlier today E400 mmcs are taking over London most routes have them Buses made before 2010 are the best in London very quick acceleration like the old e400 trident president and the dart but the newer buses euro 6 have slower acceleration and struggle with hills

First rode that model on the 498 Romford to Brentwood, Stagecoach also have them on the 277 from Crossharbour to Highbury Corner. They’re a nice ride, great seating and no jerking, much nicer than those new Routemasters.

I remember when the first 2011 ADL Enviro 400 came to Glasgow and oh that new bus smell was unforgettable until about the first month when the foul air of the city changed that.

Strictly speaking I think you have 5 batches of enviro hybrids at your garage! There are two batches of 66-reg vehicles: the SN’s which you’ve always had and the YY’s that transferred from another of your garages in South West London as a route there had its frequency reduced. The YY’s are a couple of months older than the SN’s😄

I love the old 07 Enviros have the awesome start up noise 'Fire system pressure okay' same with my local which have 57 plate 400s along with 09, 14, 64 and 67 plates but I am not a huge fan of those. This is Arriva North East by the way at Jesmond and Ashington depots.

Yes anton we’ve got nice new buses on the 196 route but they keep playing up! So a lot of time we use the 45 buses which seem to be more reliable and are only 6 months older. A lot of times when buses are new especially electrical buses they need to reboot a lot

I like the new YX18 buses but I'm gonna be sad to see them well "replace" the old buses which I have known coming around my area for years! The echo of the Computered voice by that Elizabeth women (who announces bus route, destinations, bus stop etc) on the bus sounds cool and the air con is very noisy but it's very nice and spacious on the lower deck which is good for when all seats are full and the bus is compact! I sound very nerdy but anyway nice vid Anton I subbed!!!

Good job anton I've also realised that the enviro 200s are YX60 the new refurbished 371s that are DE 200 and 201 and the old enviro 200s which are DE 60 and 70are the old ones which haven't been refurbished are the ones with the old seating there is also an unrefurbished enviro 200 with original interior and that is DE 126
