Except the dresses had zippers up the backs, which weren't invented until the 1920's.

Randall Drew is such a sad, down-in-the-dumps kind of guy; he makes the usually dour Donald Trump seem like Hubert Horatio Humphrey, the late “ Happy Warrior,” by comparison.

Trask is always on his Soapbox when he is convinced anyone is guilty of witchcraft. His father from 1795 and his son from 1897, they all have that same line in common, in league with the devil. Randall pretty much had him down as a man with a warped mind.

Barnabas knows that Roxanne is a living dead. A vampire too. Barnabas is worried about Julia. Soon, Barnabas happens to bump into that villainous gypsy Lazlo & finds out Julia's ring & forces him to tell him where Julia is kept (a false imprisonment). Yay! Barnabas found Julia! But she's very weak. Boy, that "DAMN" villainous Trask always keeps falsely accusing Quentin is a "warlock" & doing witchcraft that resulted in Roxanne's death. Roxanne confronts Trask & sucked some of his blood. Barnabas brought Julia back to the Rose Cottage where both Flora & Randall were talking. So Barnabas told Randall that his sister rose from the dead & he was stunned with disbelief.

I wanted to see Barnabas and Roxanne as a vampire couple, menacing people together 😅

Josette’s spirit (and Victoria Winters’, if her Leviathan death is true) would’ve prevented Barnabas from doing that with Roxanne

In the late 60s they were still very much doing a number of different kinds of faces. It was considered "acceptable" ... 🙄

I. HAVE LIKED TO WATCH DARK SHADOWS BUT I CANNOT TOTALLY SAY WHY. IT IS NOT THE GREATEST THING IN THE WORLD IN ONE SENSE BECAUSE IT MAY BE A WAY FOR PEOPLE TO LEARB HOW TO BE EVIL. THAT WILL NEVER BE GOOD THING FOR ANYONE IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS BECAUSE BEING EVIL WILL DRIVE PEOPLE CLOSER TO ENDING UP GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL FOREVER AND TO BE WITH THE DEVIL FOREVER INSTEAD OF BEING WITH GOD AND JESUS IN HEAVEN FOREVER.
