Gabriel Collins was a true sick human being, what real man gets excited to see or know if his own brothers wife is dead, shows how much love he truly had for Quentin

Not to mention he doesn’t particularly seemed bereaved for Tad, a kid. Nor for that kid’s mom having lost her kid & husband. Thus, of course, not for the “servant” having worked for his elitist family for decades.

I like the scenes between Edith and Gabriel even though she appears in only 7 episodes scattered throughout the storyline. If Gabriel weren't so evil and filled with hate, i might have more compassion for him in the scenes with Daniel.

I just wanted to say thank you for putting all these episodes on line. I appreciate the work it takes doing this. As my recollection of the 1840s chapter is fuzzy at best, having seen some 50 some odd years ago, it fills in a lot of gaps. I think the Parallel story line ruined it for a lot of viewers. We were anxious to see the characters return to the present time in Collinwood, and consequently lost a lot of viewership as a result.

I was expecting a return to the present with: Barnabas marrying Julia, Victoria and Jeff returning, Quentin and Maggie out of Windcliff, Willie marrying Maggie, Angelique finally coming to terms that she’ll never have Barnabas, Adam reconciling with Stokes and marrying Carolyn, etc. It was a big letdown when we didn’t see the present/1795/1897/1970PT/HODS/1995/1840 characters after #1198

@@danbaranowski I agree! I would have really loved Carolyn and Adam marrying, followed by Willie and Maggie. Then, everybody at the wedding of Barnabas and Julia! And, if Sarah could come back, for the occasion, after forgiving Barnabas, Yes!

Wow, Gerard pretends to slip poison into Samantha's drink. Both Gerard & Samantha are married. Wow, I couldn't believe that Ben Stokes took his own life by cutting off his own head. Ewww! It was the head of Judah Zachary's spirit that did it with a machete in Ben's hand. Poor Ben. He died an UGLY death.☹☹😿😿 He was Barnabas's friend. Made me held my cat to my face & cried. ☹☹😾😾(Boohoo).

I’d add to your thought 💭 about viewership drop off: Although I wasn’t yet born, Lol, I gotta believe drop off came significantly during that Leviathan business. 😮😳😵‍💫 So, Even prior to PT. Lol Just imo. I’ve seen that mentioned a lot online at other vids / channels. Had I been born, I’m willing to bet that would have lost my intense level of attention. Haha 😆 😅
