Terrence Troope r u high.... the back end of the q8 is 🔥. The front has a more sport sharp look as well, and the sides are edged off so well with an accent on the lower ridge. Beautiful car, IMO it’s much nicer and dominant over the q7.

Correction, both have available air suspension, not standard in either one. $4k in Q7, $3.5k in Q8

I looked at the cayenne after I checked out audi. Honestly the cayenne was pretty underwhelming. Not what I expected at all. I'll be buying the q7 once our warranty is up next year. Thanks for the review!

We have Q7 with black optics. Almost as nice a ride as a full suspension mountainbike on the Albion Hills

Went with the Q8 because of the glass cockpit. It lines up with the competition better. I feel the Q7 is dated with the dials + pop up screen. Sounds like the Q7 is supposed to get the new look in a couple of cycles? 3rd row seating is tight in a Q7 anyways. Q8 not having the 3rd row seems to give the backseat more leg room. Very comfortable back there. Honestly though, cant go wrong with either car. Nice review!

Agree with what you are saying, but I do find the old cockpit pretty intuitive and easy to drive with. Congrats on the Q8!

Think the 2019 Q7 looks too much like a lifted wagon. Though the base model Q8 in this comparison does the vehicle no justice. Went with a Q8 as I don’t need a third row seat and it surprising interior room/cargo. Optioned with Prestige, Year 1 blackout and wheel package, and Luxury Package. It has me looking back it every time I walk away!

Range Rover has a very rough reliability rating... I haven't driven the Velar and I am sure it is great. Audi is more of a safe bet in terms of quality for sure...

I suggest not buying either one here's why I bought a 2017 Q7 The front windshield wipers don't work in the cold because the front defroster isn't strong enough to defrost the window So the windshield wipers stick as you drive and you have to keep pulling over because you can't see with all the ice that builds up on the window So all wheel drive or 0 to 60 in whatever doesn't matter if you can't see The lane assist thinks snow ruts in the road are the lines in the road and pulls you into oncoming traffic The GPS Works 50% of the time most of time driving you in circles when you really need it You can't turn off the air conditioning another design flaw The car always asks you to re-authenticate the cell phone you've had since you bought the car so you have to go through the setup process every time you enter to the car I bought the rear DVD players from Audi they're called RSEs rear seat entertainment package what a joke they advertise that they play DVDs from the onboard Audi DVD player but they don't cost me $3,000 Audi says DVDs are old technology can only live stream from Netflix another $3,000 out the window because of all these lies all these car reviews are done when the conditions are perfect so of course they look like great cars but once you buy the Audi I guarantee you you'll regret it I have a Mercedes E550 and the windshield wipers work perfectly along with everything else very easy to use different animal the Audi

@@Superflyfunguy I understand you're selling these vehicles but I actually own one the reason I'm posting these issues is because I checked with other Audi Q7 owners and they agree with me, even the dealer does, that the windshield wipers stick to the windshield in anything under minus 5 degrees Celsius so maybe you don't drive it in the snow enough all I know is that I regret buying yhe new Q7 because it has so many design flaws that's coming from a guy who drives it everyday I've had BMWs Mercedes and Audis My 2012 E550 has 200,000 kilometers on it and it feels literally brand new no issues with the windshield wipers all the electronics work intuitively it doesn't pull me to oncoming traffic I don't have to shut it off because it's annoying even though I paid for it The adaptive cruise control on my old V12 BMW 2006 760 LI was amazing a pleasure to use seamless and smooth to use compared to Audi's 2017 version of the same thing piece of garbage feel like I'm going to throw up when it's on so do I know the difference between what is good and what is flawed? Or compared with somebody who's just been introduced to these features and somebody who knows the way these features are supposed to work based off of experience with other manufactures absolutely people have a right to know what a piece of garbage Audi issues

@@Superflyfunguy that's cool Chico I guess it comes down to show me don't tell me What I would suggest people doing is actually taking the Audi out in cold weather especially in a snowstorm the windshield wipers don't work they don't take the snow off that's not an opinion that's a fact What I also suggest is that people take the Audi out in rush hour traffic Then go take a Mercedes out both with adaptive cruise control and or a BMW the difference is significant and obvious Regarding the rest of the electronic features that don't work on the Audi who's ever test driving the car should probably take it for the night try to interface the phone and hope that it doesn't have the RSE package in the back because it won't play DVDs you can research this online as well with other frustrated buyers the show me don't tell me thing is an important concept

Not discounting your experience with your car; just telling you your experience is different from mine. I might go to a BMW X7 next... I'm not loyal to any one brand or car.

I am not sure of any SUVs I'd describe as beautiful; maybe a nicely optioned Macan is handsome. I don't love the looks of the Q7 and I own one. It is growing on me...but I'd never call it pretty. The Q8 definitely has more of a presence.
