My biggest gripe over the past couple of years was the awful lack of color choices so I'm very glad to see HD offering more colors this year. Also glad to see the Softail Standard is still available but sadly it is still only available in black. If I could get it in white sand pearl, I'd order one right now.

@@STATION26ADDISON Yes!! I'm upgrading from Iron 1200 to a Street Glide. I love the CVO's but my budget only allow me a SGS. The Baja Orange looks really nice. My dealer is getting their bikes on Thursday. I'm leaning towards the Matellic Grey but I also love the Vivid Black and chrome. Good luck with your decision as well.

@@Robbover The Specials look dang near as good as the CVO's since they have added so much to them. It's really hard to justify buying a CVO over a Special IMO.

As of Right now they are only showing Baja with Chrome finishes but I have seen stuff show up at dealers that were not listed...

did you notice the change in the touring engines? There is what looks like either a breather tube or wide band o2 sensors in the rear and front of the M8 heads!!!!

Harley better be careful because 2023 mid season is when you're going to start seeing a crash in the economy and I do mean hard and all the factors are pointing to it being worse than 08/09... I got a buddy that works at corporate Fifth Third Bank here in Michigan and all points and bulletins are predicting an economy crash worse than what I just mentioned and if that's the case Harley with these prices are going to sink ship bad not to mention everybody else... I've already got buddies that work here at Harley-Davidson here in Michigan that say if they start to see any hitting the pocketbook at their dealership.. one of them said he's going back to the family carpet business the other one said he's leaving and going to welding and they ain't coming back

@@NewBikeMikeChannel Hmmm.... I understand where you are coming from but some bikes comes standard with ABS. Now, when it comes to safety... Which is better.. Having ABS or not. I know cost is everything but having an option on safety should be a no brainer. Beside, they are also asking additional 1k up charging as well. The base price for these amazing bikes are not cheap! To be honest, I'm having a hard time deciding weather or not to order ABS just to save a buck. Note:The up charge cost is not an option. Just sayin... Everything adds up. Why can't HD offers 0.0% rate for loyal customer that can easy the blow at purchase. Especially, if the purchase is over 20k... Wishful thinking bc the budget is really tight.

@@Robbover I get it and many countries require ABS but if Indian is not making is standard then it makes it harder for HD to compete, everyone complained about the nightster price but ABS is standard on it, they said the Rogue is a better value but the Rogue base price doesn't include ABS either....harder to compare apples to oranges...

It's strange that they are announcing the MY2023 models in 2023. They used to announce them at Sturgis the year prior. We always had a batch of new MY bikes in our rental fleet at Daytona H-D for Biketoberfest. Granted, it backfired in 2013 with the MY2014 touring bikes transitioning to hydraulic clutches. We got hit with a do not sell/do not deliver order a couple of days before Biketoberfest due to serious issues with the clutch systems (improperly punched gaskets resulted in pieces of gasket material clogging the hydraulic line so when you pulled in the clutch it didn't disengage).

Soooooo many good used bikes out there. It blows my mind how many new bikes they sell. You can buy a Vstar 1100 with less than 10,000 miles for $2500....I don't see how anyone justifies brand new bike prices. I have nor problem paying cash for a new one, I just refuse to.

I thought ABS was now mandatory with DOT in United States. Why is this optional? 2nd ALL European bikes come standard with ABS & traction control so why is it not even possible to get traction control on most Harleys. This is plain and simple dumb specially at this price point.

ABS is not required in US on motorcycles, I ride a 2016 Bagger and don’t have traction control and don’t miss it. Can’t miss something you have never had…

Hi Mike. Good job. Keep it up. I love Harley but they've gone off the cliff. For those prices, ABS should be standard to all bikes. The extra cost for paint and black finish are also way too high. For the colors, I like the full gold on the Street. But, tbh, it's quite a disappointing year for colors. Harley used to have so many brilliant paint schemes. I do miss the flakes. The worst anyway is this two tone Pan Am. Yellow and Broken white together? Hmg, it's horrible. If they want to do two tones on Pan America, they should find another way than to keep a different color for the tank than the headlight... It's vomiting ugly. I guess they still have way too many White Sand Pearl headlights that they run it 3 years in a row. They should have redesigned the windshield to prevent touching with the handguards at least... Looking forward to your video after the event. Keep it clean and clear.
