Coming from a prior owner of a 2021 Vantage, this thing is EXCITING! This fixes so many things that I didn’t like about my Vantage. And this front end is stunning! The interior 🤯 I. WANT. On another note, I very much look forward to your videos - this is no exception. Enough depth and information without being boring. Great one!

@MisterLovaLova I agree with your sentiment, but I blame Gen Y rather than the manufacturers. They're only making what their customers demand. Just like Gen Z's first question about any product is, "can I operate it using my phone?", Gen Y's first question is, "how big's the screen?" It's why Teslas have been so successful.
@Konszky
@Konszky 9 ай бұрын
@@Neo_LV69 people constantly complain about how everything is so high tech and digital. Depending on constant flow of electricity. Because that´s gonna break one day and you have to switch the entire screen, consol or control unit. Changing a cheap (not 5k, what are you on about?) button or a switch every once in a while, is 100% more preferable.
@woodreg
@woodreg 9 ай бұрын
@@Neo_LV69 utter nonsense. whole point of buttons is that they are always in the same place, you don't need to take your eyes off the road as your muscle memory knows where they are. if they wear out, then they're made from cheap materials. Manufacturers went to screens to save money, and accommodate more advanced features. Fine for using a screen to adjust some infrequently used setting, but for Hvac, audio, seat heating etc buttons are way better. So kudos to Aston here for doing the right thing, that customers actually want. Not everyone wants a cheap, rubbish interior like a Tesla where they even have got rid of column stalks...

I normally start to glaze over on this type of video due to the assault on my senses by the information overload and the corporate design engineer "selling" the new car but this was DIFFERENT. Harry asking all the right questions and Simon clearly lived, breathed and loved his part in this cars development. He knew the answer to absolutely any question Harry could come up with and his replies were interesting, enthusiastic, detailed but above all else understandable. Great bloke and an asset to Aston Martin. Thank you.

Any chance of a less manic inline-6 version for us sub-plutocrats, say 500bhp? I know Mercedes has a rather nice one knocking around in the E-class and CLS. It'd be very Aston.

I think that is a slam dunk for Aston. Stunning. I loved the first generation Vantage (which I was lucky to drive), couldn't get on with the looks of the last generation, but this new one is awesome. Looking forward now to seeing when Harry gets to drive it, shame it's such a wait!

Dear Aston Martin, Please at your very earliest convenience get this car into Harry's Garage so he can give it a proper review. Thank you for the excellent walk-around Harry. Your enthusiasm was contagious and I look forward to your review 👍

Exactly what I thought they would do slap the face and interior of the DB12 on it

Legends are often way out in front of good! Your Indepth details and what they mean is what makes you special! The best vantage yet and as always the best review!

Huge improvement, engineers and designers have been hard at work. Would have one over a Porsche or Bmw

Tbh it is a facelift, a heavy one. But man is it good looking!

Think it’s the best facelift of any car for me last 10 years. Brutify front design. Widen. Retain wicked rear. It’s a right car now

@@zzhughesd yes, the vantage was good looking but this is just crazy good. Same with db12. Instead of „reinventing“ the whole car, they polished it to perfection

@@iainhughes8110 look, i was listening but lets be honest, design wise it is not like the db9 and db11. You clearly see similarities and the back of the car is literally the same

They appear to have nailed this. So pleasing to see a manufacturer putting a new car out with no hybrid nonsense and plenty of buttons in the cabin.
