@MisterLovaLova I agree with your sentiment, but I blame Gen Y rather than the manufacturers. They're only making what their customers demand. Just like Gen Z's first question about any product is, "can I operate it using my phone?", Gen Y's first question is, "how big's the screen?" It's why Teslas have been so successful.
@Konszky9 ай бұрын
@@Neo_LV69 people constantly complain about how everything is so high tech and digital. Depending on constant flow of electricity. Because that´s gonna break one day and you have to switch the entire screen, consol or control unit. Changing a cheap (not 5k, what are you on about?) button or a switch every once in a while, is 100% more preferable.
@woodreg9 ай бұрын
@@Neo_LV69 utter nonsense. whole point of buttons is that they are always in the same place, you don't need to take your eyes off the road as your muscle memory knows where they are. if they wear out, then they're made from cheap materials. Manufacturers went to screens to save money, and accommodate more advanced features. Fine for using a screen to adjust some infrequently used setting, but for Hvac, audio, seat heating etc buttons are way better. So kudos to Aston here for doing the right thing, that customers actually want. Not everyone wants a cheap, rubbish interior like a Tesla where they even have got rid of column stalks...
