Get ready to witness Cadillac's bold leap into the future with the unveiling of their electric flagship, the Celestiq sedan! In this video, we delve into the exquisite design, cutting-edge technology, and jaw-dropping performance that define this luxury masterpiece.
🔍 Design Elegance:
The Celestiq shares its DNA with the new Lyriq EV SUV but stands out with sleek lines, a sweeping roof, and a bustle rear end that exudes dynamic proportions. Cadillac's designers blend elements from the past with futuristic high-tech systems, creating a visually stunning sedan that demands attention.
💺 Luxurious Interior:
Step inside the Celestiq's cabin, and you're greeted by drama - brightly colored leather, Eames-inspired bucket seats, and a massive 55-inch digital dashboard. The electrochromic glass roof allows passengers to control their own slice of the sky. Buttery leather, open-pore wood, and brushed metal accents contribute to a technological powerhouse.
🚀 Power and Performance:
Under the hood, the Celestiq boasts a dual-motor all-wheel-drive electric powertrain, pushing out an estimated 600 horsepower. It accelerates to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds, putting it in competition with the likes of Audi e-tron GT and Porsche Taycan. While it prioritizes comfort, an adaptive air suspension system and rear-wheel steering ensure nimble handling.
🔋 Electrifying Range and Charging:
The Ultium battery pack provides around 300 miles of EPA-estimated driving range per charge. While not the top in its class, the Celestiq can recharge 78 miles in just 10 minutes on a 200-kW DC fast charging connection, ensuring convenience on the go.
💰 Exclusivity and Price:
But luxury comes at a price - the 2024 Cadillac Celestiq is expected to start around $340,000. Each Celestiq will be a bespoke creation, hand-built by a small team of craftspeople. With customization options aplenty, prices are expected to soar, making this flagship sedan a true symbol of exclusivity.
🤔 The Big Question: Would You Buy One?
As we explore the Celestiq's features and exclusivity, the ultimate question remains - would you invest in this handcrafted luxury sedan? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

What makes you think that a car built "by hand" is better built than one that is built by a robot/machine?

This is my dream car but I'm 22 and no where near rich enough to be able to buy a 340k car 💀 Maybe when I'm in my late 30s I'll get something as futuristic as this.

I love that Cadillac did this. New from the bottom up, an all American, kiss my ass, outrageous, made to order electric CAR, not an SUV, which is a truck. Huge, elegant, but only 4 seats so it’s chic. Ferrari did the Roma model which says the same thing in Italian. No one else is doing modern glamour. RR is stupid, as is Bentley, Bugatti, Audi, Mercedes, Teslas design is weak. Cool ride. I sent this to every client of mine. 5 are ordering. Go Detroit.

Wanting an EV is just plain silly.. until a full charging infrastructure is available country-wide.. and 400 miles plus per charge can be guaranteed in all weather conditions. Obviously, if one is only going to drive locally.. and maybe has a charger port at home.. then that changes the above generalized logic.

I worked on the divestiture of Ma Bell, what a mistake, poor phone service ever since. Privatization has resulted in inequality, ridiculously expensive elections and a horrible infrastructure that Pete is finally correcting. Having said that I would imagine the profile of the person buying this car is a wealthy zip code that doesn’t pay taxes, but has sufficient charging stations whereby a good driver can manage. What else are they doing? Drinking lattes and looking for a restroom? If a destination is too far, then it’s a question of a plane or helicopter. People buying this car don’t have EV issues, they have a private hanger 15 minutes from one of their homes with 6-7 planes with different ranges waiting, along with a pilot. That was the privatization of the 1981 tax code. And one doesn’t have to worry about our allies, the Saudis, doing another 911 or the Boeing situation caused by deregulation and self inspection. A sham argument that Boeing won’t be able to compete financially worldwide when they have no competition and are laughing all the way to the bank, just look at their profits while you and I are falling out of the missing door or watching the engine burn. Of course there could always be a mass shooting with a war weapon so the missing door would be I immaterial. Most people with 340k for a car aren’t thinking about EV stations, they are thinking about who’s replacing Tucker and keeping the status quo. Thank you Cadillac for making a futuristic car as America is about the future and not a distorted or non-existent past. Thanks for reminding me what Detroit can do, WOW, and what capitalism and free thinking can invent. The Chinese EV destined to take over the world doesn’t shake my nerves or rattle my brain, it’s a bore and one note, like death. Russia, the gas pump, is irrelevant, unless America lets them get the minerals the Ukraine is sitting on. When was the last time you lusted for a Russian car? Ferrari Roma would do, but I’ll take new. Gracie.

Even Cadillac themselves said this is not a daily driver. But that will change in time. Having said that, the line for these cars are so long that it would take years to even buy one.

@@RedLeo-pf9yo Cadillac should have made 10 cars and auctioned them with the net or gross profits going to charities. Great marketing and a few crumbs for the 99% of American idiots who have voted to pay the Uber rich taxes since the tax act of 1981.
