my nicest feeling reel is a diawa procyon AL 3000 and it feels really smooth to me and cast better than my fuegoLTs that im very happy with . but the clicker on that certate sounds beautiful . i'd love to hear it sing on one of our big boys from the new river here in southwest Va. good times :)

You know, I think I've owned or at least tried every single Daiwa spinning reel made in the last 6-8 years, EXCEPT for that Procyon! I'm glad to hear its an awesome reel! I might do a multiple winner giveaway soon and that would be in a good price range for giving away 2-3 of them at once. Especially if I can find one on my Japanese websites (huge savings). The feugo is a solid benchmark for comparing $50-200 reels, in my onion its the best $100 reel on the market so its good to here the Procyon is much better. Thanks so much for watching Jeff! And yeah I really am considering selling half my current reels and replacing them with the certate. I'm just trying to make it to the 6 month mark first to make sure they're durable and can put up with my abuse.

@@AikenAngling i got my first fuego lt almost 2 years ago and really liked it . found a deal on the procyon al 3000 for $120ish so i got it . got one of the new 2023 fuego lt 2500xd a few months ago and never put line on it and returned it . the new one i got was tight and the handle would only spin for about 2 rotations when spinning it for feel ... very disappointing to me . i got two of the pre 2023 furgo lt 2500xd clearanced for half price and i'm very happy with them . just my opinions and we know what opinions can be like . hahahaha . a procyon al giveaway would be awesome ! i keep my 3000 on my med/heavy inshore that i use for heavy lures . take care dude :)

I have the 3000 certate and its the best reel ive ever owned. Here in the pnw its handled 20 lb king salmon and nice steelhead better than any spinning reel ive owned.

Nice gar I don’t measure mine either but I have accidentally caught plenty of them while targeting hybrids at the spill way. Pro-tip, order from Japan. The Japanese Yen is down so bad compared to the US dollar that I got these certates basically half off. $339 shipped. And Japan ships crazy fast for some reason, ordered on a Monday and they were at my door by Wednesday. Digitaka and japantackle are my favorite Japanese sites.

Yeah I’m gonna have to check out the new twin at some point. Although I haven’t seen many people going crazy for it. I wish they made it look better as well haha. Looks like they’re cheaper $100 reels. Although I bet it performs amazingly.

I was targeting striped bass, so I had a 4 inch Zoom fluke Jr (white ice color) on a 1/4oz Z-man jighead, And I tie a 1oz weight about 8 inches above that on my leader just so I can cast it all the way to the back of the current.

Well if you don't win the give-away, they're about half the cost on the Japanese fishing websites compared to the US sites because the Yen is down so bad compare to the dollar! But I have no idea if you're in the states or not so that may not help, but thanks so much for watching brother!

@@AikenAngling im not in the states. Country of Georgia with a low income and yeah we always order from japan, its much better price-wise. Last time i made myself birthday present (Evergreen PSSS84T rod) and now im in the market for a good reel for it. Pairing it with my current 2500s luvias, is kinda stupid. The reel is too light and it hurts my arm after some time using it due to bad balance.
