The only eyeshadow sticks I like are Laura Mercier and Coulorpop. Their formulas are different, but the only two that don’t make my eye lids cake and crease after an hour. I’m curious about these cover girl sticks though… that ballerina pink color 😍

I have some of the tarte click up balms on my wishlist but haven't pu any yet. I'm liking the looks of the newer "vinyl" ones. I did however pu one of the nyx ones. The shade I picked is pretty, but I'm finding it to be "goopy" (only way I can think of to describe it) lol. Think I'll give 1 of the colourpop ones a try.

I have some shadow sticks but hadn't found myself reaching for them lately. I did however see a video just the other day showing 3 Bobbie Brown ones used together and I really loved the look. I already had 2 of those on my wishlist (transition and darker outer corner) but the one that really peaked my interest was the shimmer for the lid. I ended up going by ulta right after I'd seen the video and the shimmer was as pretty as it looked online. Have worn it a couple times and now I'm excited by sticks again and will be checking out these. ❤

I just got a set of the plumping Buxom lip glosses from T.J.Maxx for 12.99$. I am very excited!!! Have you guys noticed the prices of makeup going up at Sephora??? I remember the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balms (the renowned ones) being 24$ last year and now they are 26$! I also remember the Clarins oil being 28$ and then 29$ and now 30$!!! What the heck??? The prices are rising in front of our eyes, literally!!! 😮😒🙄

The price gouging is disgusting. Something has to be done to stop it. Some people want to blame it on “inflation” but it’s not inflation….it’s price gouging. Period. These companies have learned nothing is being done to stop them so they keep going higher and higher, with smaller products 🤬

@@EnvyBluThere have been increases in the costs of labor, raw ingredients, packaging, and shipping. The wars in Ukraine and the Middle East have also influenced costs. But I strongly agree that at least part of the increases is price gouging. However, I think the increases have gotten to the point where many people have switched to less expensive options and are considering each purchase more carefully than in the past. I've personally changed some of my skincare from a brand with lower end department store pricing to drugstore products. I'm also on a very low makeup buy, except for replacing mascara every 4 months (necessary for eye health) and replacing other products when I use them up.

Everything looked freshly applied even after 8 hrs. Maybe the Beekman would be a good tinted sunscreen since it is so light. Maybe it will "play well" with a foundation over the top.

I had a sample of the Laura Mercier eyeshadow stick and it creased so bad on me, I even used an eyelid primer. I have oily eyelids too. I have to steer clear of the eyeshadow sticks.

Another great review video! I was also excited when I saw NYX drop glittery butter glosses, but now I'm sad because I don't want to feel the glitter on my lips! Oh well. I'll stick to my shimmery Lifter glosses. I'm definitely interested in the Florence by Mills blush sticks, but I absolutely do not need another blush. Maybe in the future... Catrice True Skin Concealer and Elf Lash XTNDR are two of my favs as well. I really, really wish Catrice was still at Ulta though! I, too, love an eyeshadow stick for lazier days, but I'll stick with Elf and Hard Candy for half the price of those Covergirl ones because they last all day on me too. The shades are pretty though!

I have some of those lanolips, they’re nice. But what is even more moisturizing is lansinoh (nipple cream) from the baby department. Great for overnight, I’m excessively dry and it really lasts all night.

LOVE Lano lip balm too! I'm tempted by both the new donut scent and the raspberry shortcake one. I've literally gone through three tubes in the past year (tried peach, strawberry, and green apple; peach was my fave) because I live in a dry climate and use it every day. The CG eyeshadow sticks are so pretty. I'm glad they changed the tip from the pointed to the rounded shape. Your makeup looks great after 8 hours; thanks for the wear test, as always!

Thank you for your video review ! I wish I felt comfortable purchasing the CoverGirl eye sticks but when I saw them at the store I noticed that most of them had been opened due to they weren’t sealed so they were tamper proof. With using this product on the eyes , they could harbor germs from people swatching them on their skin . I was so bummed to not feel comfortable buying the ballerina pink shade .

So far I like the finish of some of the Cover Girl ones even more! Like the Ballerina, Bronze, and Sky Dust have such a beautiful sheen. The Milani feel very similar in texture (very creamy) but they have little glitters and not as much of a metallic finish. :)

Have you tried Eucerin lotion ? ( red pump, white bottle) It was only thing that helped my son and Hubby's excema. If you have not, it may do wonders for your hands. They look painful. Pls don't take as negative - just want to help if you haven't tried it. Great video!!!❤❤❤

Speaking of click lip balms, I've really been enjoying the Philosophy Ultimate Miracle Worker Fix Lip Serum Stick. It's $25 at Ulta, and it goes on easily and leaves my lips nice and moist, not sticky at all. Lipstick or other balms go over it really well if you're wanting a color on top. It's been a repurchase even though it is kind of pricey.

Hi Jen, thanks for the video! I love the top you're wearing in this one. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there's no alcohol or fragrance in the ingredients list for the Beekman tint. Looks like a good product for those of us with dry skin. The Catrice concealer, though...I know a lot of people like this, and the price is right, but it has fragrance, which is really bad in a product used around the eyes. As for the eye shadow sticks, I sure wish they'd offer colors that aren't shiny or even shimmery. Maybe it's difficult to formulate a matte color in this kind of formula, or, maybe it's just that shiny is what sells. That color looked great on you! But I don't think anything as shiny as those would work well on me. And Colourpop brought out ANOTHER plumping lip gloss. Aren't there enough of those on the market? Another case of Dupes Gone Wild! Also, I'll have to try using a fluffy brush to blend my concealer. I'm using Bye Bye Undereye right now, and I usually squeeze a little out with my finger, and blend it on gently with my fingertip. And then buff a little bit with a sponge. Maybe a brush would work better. Bye Bye Undereye is really thick, so Idk. But, surprisingly, it doesn't sink into the lines under my eyes.

I don't find eyeshadow sticks quicker or easier, I stick to powder eyeshadow.. if you haven't got much time just use one matte shade in the crease and lightly on the lid and a shimmer shade.. done 😊 I don't like the Elf shadow sticks, they are stiff and tug on the eye lid 🙄 I bought 2 Revolution pro liquid eyeshadow glam eyes duos, they're are better and you get a stick and liquid shadow in 1. They're dupes for Iconic London
