There's been a lot of complaints about new Santa Fe transmission failing under 100 miles. Apparently it doesn't want to shift from 1st gear to 2nd.

True . But not for the hybrid as it’s a regular 6speed AT transmission and not the crappy DCT

Also, these two SUVs are different from one another. Even though it isn’t sold in Korea, I think the Acura MDX is a superior vehicle. I also drive an Acura myself.

Seems Hyundai should gain some sales with this new look of the Santa Fe. When I test drove the 2022 Santa Fe and Santa Fe hybrid, the hybrid felt more stable on the road, just a better riding vehicle overall. I drove my 2017 Optima hybrid in Sport mode most of the time as it was more responsive that way, around town and in traffic, Eco would be used. Thanks for the review Mari.

It is funny that they compared the Sante Fe to a Ford because the Sante Fe looks like the Ford Flex never died and continued to evolve.

In the case of Santa Fe, gasoline uses DCT, but hybrid uses 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The Ford Bronco is equipped with a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

I get the Bronco’s styling, square is in its DNA, a nod to previous generations. But the Santa Fe? While undoubtedly better built and nicer to drive on road, seems to be square merely for designs sake. btw is the “Marie Edition” Bronco, featuring Korea’s most stylish car reviewer in the luggage compartment, a KDM model only? 😉

I don’t see how the Bronco is “masculine” at all. It has more fun colors and most women I talk to prefer the Bronco over most other SUVs

Bronco…. Just square , boxy, mussels nothing else. Santa Fe hum still unsure. I would say none of them
