Personally, I prefer the older body styles, with the leaping jaguar hood ornament, and elegantly appointed leather interior with the gleaming tigerwood finishes, (most especially the shift handle)! I also appreciate the longer wheel base and the excellent symmetry. And how when you saw it coming down the road-- you immediately knew, that it was a Jaguar, from the hood to the trunk! Today, these newer models disappointingly remind me of a Camary😔.

But I don’t think this is a 2024 model. I have a 2017 XJ and it is essentially the same (take away some extras). I thought Jag had not produced a new XJ for years now, with the expectation of when they do it might be an EV? Not sure.

Yeah I tend to agree, I’ve got a 2007 S Type R with 90,000 kilometres on the clock and in concourse condition, beautiful car in all aspects in my humble opinion and probably the best jaguar I’ve had out of the 5 I’ve owned. Had a MK2 years ago and that’s second place on my list. 👍🏻
