Fun fact, when you said you weren’t impressed with rear and lights didn’t make it that special. I agree in certain way, however the lights are where they are as when designed they were meant to look like a cat jumping on back or car, then the lights represents the cat claws!

I watching this Video from Arizona. I was at Arrowhead mall in Glendale az one day and as I was approaching Macy's and I noticed this car XJL unloading passengers in front of the Mall. I was about 20 ft away and the site of the car took my breath away as it was so long and very white. It was the most elegant car I had ever seen. The problem I had was what the hell was the make of the car? I finally found out it was an XJL I think the (L) is for large. I'm now looking at Craig's list and there is one in Scottsdale AZ. The XJS Portfollo with the V6 engine in silver for $20.000. I will check it out. Do you think "The Sain"t (Roger Moore) would have approve? BTW it was a little difficult to understand you guys talking as your British accent is so thick. Is everyone in Britain a Governor . I say Governor. Bloody alright. Did the British Navy really sink the Bismark? Is Terry Thomas a National Hero. One more thing. I think Queen Elizabeth will easily live to be 200 years old. What a cush job she has.

Didn't check perpendicular parking, no review of soft close doors and or really the cameras etc in depth with 360 feature and or so much more. I own this particular model and love it to bits, such a shame its been discontinued. Have to say a good "fun" review guys, a decent watch, but not the most indepth / informative one I've seen

I think Jerry owns an Audi 😂 The car is my personal favourite amongst the luxury cars. I'm currently saving for one 👍 I'm a bit worried about the diesel muse though. Nice video, the car has flaws but I think it has more character. Anyhow each to their own as they say. Though nobody told Jerry that 😂😏

The 3.0L diesel is very fast, and very quiet in normal driving, almost unlimited power for UK roads.

Auto parking in this car should be optional since it’s mainly for chauffeur. 360 camera had a higher chance to be standard than auto parking.

I have noticed when watching guys of a certain age , have a problem when driving a car of actually holding the steering wheel they cannot talk without windmilling both arms at the same time , or look like their sat on their hands . Makes me cringe watching 😢

Just because a British company is owned by an Indian doesn't make it an Indian company. If I buy Ferrari tomorrow it wouldn't make it a British company just like that. If I were to buy Indian Oil Corp, it wouldn't become British Oil Corp overnight. Think about it... It would just be (such person, from place irrelevant) owns Indian Oil Corp. You can't take from peoples heritage and legacy and change what you like. But you can buy it sure enough.

We’ve not been privileged enough to drive (or be driven in) the equivalent German cars. When that day comes we’ll be in a position to make comparisons and form honest opinions about which is best

This car is no more British then India and frankly I'm surprised you blokes (see what I did there) can even claim that this is a Jaguar. Now maybe you guys grew up on the shity side of London and never got to experience true British luxury but I have to say this is a Toyota Camry with fancy headlights. Gone are the rounded individual headlamps in favor of one mounted piece gone are the cat like wheel wells that look like the car is about to pounce on a poor wounded animal searching for a watering hole. The sleek lines, the low stance and the epitome British understated Elegance for this worn-out bar of soap. You should all be ashamed to even attempt to link yourself with the British empire empire that once never saw a sunset. It's a jaguar? Now what a damn fool. No sir it's a worn-out bar of soap.

@@GuysThatDrive my favorite British Jag is every Jag that actually has Jaguar DNA. Meaning of a Jaguar that evolves with time and not massive corporate buyouts. This Jaguar doesn't look anything like a jaguar. Say what you will about other buyouts at least they kept the design with continuity and evolution in mind. It's like they took the brand and redeveloped without any care for past jaguars. There is nothing about this car that makes me think yeah that's a jaguar like at all. Take Cadillac for example. He'll at least they kept the angular design showing off the sharp lines and angular proportions of tail lights and headlights. At least Rolls-Royce has kept the old world coach building intact. You know it's a rolls. Just that but the proportions are odd not just in the shape but the roof line the tail lights the headlamps hell even the grill frankly this Jaguar it's underwhelming to look at and over proportioned, it's sad to see.

you`ve also got to be a bit more "honest" lads, come on, its poorly made and terribly designed, it "may" have all the "goodies" but everything, such as buttons ect are poorly situated , jaguar have defo gone DOWNHILL in build quality and design, it`s a bit like a top of the range skoda, has all the goodies, but none of the class or build quality of an audi, shame, but thats the truth......

t5jerry we are honest in our reviews Jerry, if we don’t like something or think it’s naff we’ll say! What buttons are you taking about specifically? it was a while a go that we had the car, the only thinks I can remember that I wasn’t a huge fan of was that a lot of the cabin controls had to be selected using the infotainment screen instead of having dedicated buttons on the console, heated seats etc.
