@@mauricetoussaint7283 What makes you think the material quality got worse? From all the reviews I watched most mention that the material quality is a step up. However I was comparing it to the competitors. BMW makes all their new cars look incredibly ugly and cuts costs everywhere. The facelift of the 3 series reduced the amount of buttons, implemented a horrendous looking curved screen into the car with an OS8, working less intuitive than the previous version, reduced material quality (the leather option now feels like plastic) and the C class… well if you want a movie theater and touchy touch inside the cabin, yea then go buy a completely overpriced C class. Just because Mercedes says they want to be a luxurious brand and increased the price tag doesn’t automatically make them luxurious. So the competitors are going downhill imho while Audi at least made a great looking car with the new A5, acknowledged some criticism of the past (exhaust tips) and in terms of the interior at least to me it looks like a better design than 3 series and C class.

No it wont. Its already NOT slipping. So even on dry or prepped pavement the time wont be any better. The only way to get a better result is with less weight. Grip isnt the factor holding the car back here

I had a A4 3.2L AWD Avant with a 6 speed transmission for a decade from 2006 to 2016. I absolutely loved it. And they never replaced it here in Canada. No Allroad now either. I went to BMW now.

As long as there is an engine, exhaust pipes and a gear shifter on the central console the car is fine. Yes EVs are punchy, yes EVs are probably the future? The emotion, sound and feel of an ICE is irreplaceable. If Audi ever decides to kill this range please don not kill the name too by naming the next generation RSev or something. The legend of the RS from 100,80,A4,A3,A5 are to live up in our memories as ICE sports cars. An RS EV would seem ridiculous no matter how fast will be. Thanks for reading my post. Great review thanks! Just check, the height above sea level has no detrimental effect on the Audi's performance as it is force fed by the turbo. The higher one goes with a NA engine however, the less power it makes as the air pressure decreases "thin air".😊

Das es im S5 einen V6 hat ist top. Gefällt mir sehr gut, Innenraum Top, schade keine beleuchteten Gurtschlösser. Kein Augmentet Reality HUD finde ich sehr sehr schade. Das normale 3-speichen Lenkrad find ich schön, das im Test wagen leider nicht. Ich persönlich hatte keine Probleme mit den Tasten auf der Probefahrt mit dem Q4. "Nur" Matrix Licht? Warum nicht HD, Laser oder Digital Light? Wo ist der Vorsprung durch Technik? Aussen sehr schade keine Rahmenlosen Fensterseitenscheiben, stand für mich immer für Premium. Auch sehr schade das es das beleuchtete Audi Logo nicht auf den A5 geschaft hat. Echte Endrohre sind top. Hoffe das mit der "Schlechten" Rückfahrkamera wird noch besser.

Hi, endlich mal ein Fahrvideo.😎👍 Ich fahre selber den S4 Avant TFSI von 2018. Sound wird bei meinem besser sein, sowie meiner hat noch die gute 8-Gang ZF Tiptronic und den 40/60 Torsen Quattro.😎👍 Dieser hier hat ein DSG und einen Ultra-Quattro. 4,7 Sekunden schafft meiner auch schon unter nassen Bedingungen. Leider viel grobes Hartplastik beim neuen im unteren Bereich des Innenraums verbaut. Besonders unterhalb dem Lenkrad, sollte man nicht so genau schauen.🙈 Ansonsten ein schickes Auto. Kofferraum ist leider kleiner und hinten im Fußraum immer noch nicht mehr Beinfreiheit. Ein S Logo im Kühlergrill wurde auch weg gespart. Leider kein großer optischer Unterschied, zwischen A5 und S5. Schade.☹️

Man hat es im Video gut beim Beschleunigungstest sehen können. Deutliches durchdrehen der Vorderachse... So macht es keinen großen Unterschied zu einem Haldex-System... Das Auto ist wunderschön (in meinen Augen), aber der Verlust des Wandlers (Anhängerbetrieb) und des "klassischen" Quattros macht ihn leider nicht wirklich "besser", als die B9-Baureihe. Ich bin gespannt, ob der neue RS5 Avant eine "klassische" Auslegung des Quattros bekommt. (Bei mir ist es ein B9 Avant mit 3.0 TDI und 8-Gang Tiptronic✌😊)
