I turned them down to work for Honda of canada manufacturing. HCM is in a better location for me and they were clear on pay increases and paid more. Multimatic is an amazing facility that builds amazing vehicles. They have facilities all over the world and the mustang is built by them in Canada.

It's a 9.6, DPC messed up the title, might've mixed it up with the low aero car that runs 2.5 and 9.7 @ 152. It's also probably 2.3 subtracting a couple tenths of rollout, so closer to a 2.5 true 0-60.

The best time ever recorded for the Stingray was 2.8 seconds for 60 and the best 1/4 mile time was 10.98 seconds. published by GM = 2.8 0-60 and 11.2 1/4 mile. Keep in mind that many C8s are around 11.4, so 11.2 would be the average time and 11.0 the best time. As for the Z06, it was the same 0-60 in 2.6 and 1/4 mile in 10.6, as published by GM, but the Z06's best 1/4 mile time was 10.3 and many of them are around 10.9, that is, between 10.3 and 10.9, 10.6 is the average time. The same will apply to the ZR1, 2.3 is the best time they have ever achieved to 60 and 9.6 is the average time for the 1/4 mile. so the best time will be around 9.3 and the worst around 9.9

The test conducted on the Nuremberg ring was done by a guy who drives primarily Porsches, who had zero laps to familiarize himself with the Z06: he did only one lap on the track, his timed lap. Other, less - in the tank for Porsche magazines perform numerous laps to get the drivers familiar with the vehicles before doing their time timed laps. Further, the test was conducted around 10°C, which is well below ideal operating range for the cup2Rs on the vehicle and will cost multiple seconds over a lap. Contrast those with the lap times you see that that magazine performed for Porsche: the test were conducted in ideal conditions, perfect temperatures for the tires, with the driver who had performed literally hundreds of laps in those cars. Not really a fair comparison.

@ if you’re tracking/racing it probably but as a weekend cruiser, daily or blasting through through some back roads. I don’t want a fast and furious boy racer or JC Whitney catalog apparatus on my car. It really destroys the overall lines of the car IMO, my brothers 23’ modded stingray is brutally fast and came with the optional lower wing from GM that looks really good and it’s functional But if you buy the car, it’s your choice! After you buy this car, it'll start giving you problems if it's like my experience. You'll be all excited to drive it, and instead you get to que up at the GM Stealership behind old shit boxes, talk to a bunch of staff that are supposed to fix your problem but get paid nothing and know nothing about your car, then you'll sit in the GM que behind a 14 year old Chevy cavalier. 👍 The dealership is super busy with crappy cars, and you'll always wait in line for hours, even though you paid 180k to 200k plus for your car.. And you might get your car back in 2 weeks, but a check engine light will come on the first time you really push it, and then you'll be totally fucking pissed, cause you again gotta talk to Bob at the dealership and wait another 2 weeks, even though your faith in Bob is nonexistent. It'll spend 50% of its life at the dealership. You'll spend most of your weekends there too and on the phone listening to their excuses. "God, that sounds amazing, sign me up!" 😂 Note: I am a former corvette owner. Mine had electrical problems, a broken fuel guage, headlight issues, overheating problems, etc. It was all 40k miles, right out of warranty..... And while i was sitting at the GM dealership in my new corvette that's got all kinds of issues, I would frequently see another corvette owner there too with a new corvette that already had 2 engines replaced and all manner of other random issues like mine. Morale of the Story: I would just go and get a real car! I got a Porsche after that because of the bumper to bumper warranty. Best dealership experience ever turns out. Best dates I ever went on. Girls actually think the thing is so classy and sexy, and i kid you not talk shit about camaros and corvettes while we're driving to dinner and see them at the stops. So do yourself a favor. Step up to a car that actually treats you like a king. If you buy a corvette, you're still driving a GM product. This means you're still stuck with a garbage shit warranty from a company that will do anything to get out of taking care of you. You're still stuck with horrible wait times and a trash dealership experience. There's literally no accountability when your car has been in and out of the shop 20 times. I look back, and my corvette and Silverado and Chevy cruise experiences were horrible! So many times i got screwed. I wasted so many hours on the phone and not having a car and being pissed off. Fuck that. I will never go back! Now, i get a brand new porsche for free while my car gets serviced. They get the work done right away, and it's done perfectly, better than you can get it done anywhere else. The dealership is so gorgeous and full of amazing cars. Free fancy coffee. It's just NIGHT AND DAY against GM. I think it's the biggest scam on earth agreeing to be locked into going to a GM dealership for anything! What a nightmare. Ugh. A few salient points: 1. The SF90 has not been in production for six years. 2. It did test at two seconds 0 to 60, because it is a hybrid and the electric motors hop it off the line. General Motors plans to release a hybrid version of this car. Let’s see what happens then. 3. While the SFA did run two seconds 0 to 60, it did not run the quarter-mile speed you were claiming. It ran a 9.5 at 148 mph as tested by car and driver

If I’m McLaren that is 4-500 pounds lighter (less traction) with skinnier tires (less traction) can do it, I see no reason why this cannot do it, but then I’m not biased by blind love of European cars nor blind hatred of American cars.
